Site time outs

Would it be possible for there to be a feature where I can specify how long the idle time is before I a user is logged out?
I ask this because I just spent ages writing a reply to someone, a really good and long one (like everyone says, one liners are crap) clicked the submit button and found I was no longer logged in. Pressing back didn't help and my letter was lost. I've written another one, but it just doesn't seem to be as good as the last one and it is all a bit annoying sad

Surely there could be something in the 'My settings' bit where you could specify an 'idle' time.

It's easier if you write it in notepad or somewhere then paste. Nice to know some people put the effort in tough.

I know my post is too late, I always right click copy and highlight the text I want to save, just in case. Or you could save it in word or something.

the site automatically logs you out if idle for more than 24 minutes smile

I would LOVE to be idle for 24 minutes..... only respite I got today was standing in the queue at Sainsbury's and that was only for 10 minutes and then I had to start packing, sorting, unpacking, repacking and then paying.

You should try and get more respite time Jags, use Tesco the queues are longer.

Now looking for volunteers to ring me at m. tomorrow so I can leave the house at m. for the train to Manchester. Same person to ring me at m. to remind me to get off the train in 15 minutes at Newcastle. Apply by PM to the usual address!!
