Easy
You have to upload your pic's to a hosting site try and they give you a link to cut and paste into your post.If the pics are in your profile just right click on it then slect view image, you should get just the picture you want in the top left hand side of your screen, cut and paste the URL to your post (the WWW. address in the top bar) and then suround it with img tags.
Eg:
**http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/swingers-forum/images/avatars/233611865.jpg**
if you leave out the ** I've inserted at each end of the address it should come out something like this

We have signed up for the extras option and had a few tweaks which might make it more tempting for other users.
One part we really like is that a small thumbnail now appears next to our ad in the photo ad listings. This doesn't appear though if someone is using the photo ads search option. It would be great if this thumbnail appeared on searches as well?
Our second suggestion might not be popular, but how about bumping Extras accounts permanently to the top of the photo ads listings. If an Extras account user doesn't log on for a couple of weeks, then there ad could start dropping down the listings until they logged on again.
The third suggestion is why not allow the attaching of a pic to the winks on Extra accounts. We can already write/edit our own wink, so why not let us attach our face pic to that wink?
Finally, we think the new free standard members cannot reply to our messages. (Maybe this has now changed?) It would be great if everyone even a totally new free member could reply to our messages. We often see an ad and think, lets reply to them, but have no idea if they can actually respond to us. Maybe this could be an incentive to get an Extras account. Get an Extras Account and know that all members can reply.

Just a quick one to let everyone know we are doing everything we can to get the site speed sorted asap.
We successfully bought the 3rd database server online Friday ahead of the weekend rush. The site was good speed over the Friday, until Database server 2 went down sometime over Saturday/Sunday. It is still offline at the moment, hence the speed of the site is somewhat slower than normal.
We have major hardware upgrades coming in over the next few days, we aim to get these done with no downtime to the site if we can help it. There will be a small maintenance window while we make some backend changes, but this will be quite brief (around 15 mins).
The hardware upgrades (for those who it makes sense to!) is a 4th database server added, all database servers double memory capacity, and the network upgrading to gigE (10 times its current capacity).
We hope this will resolve all of the speed issues we are currently having, and provide a much more stable platform.
Expect all of this done within the next few days, so please bear with the site speed for a couple more days, fingers crossed we will have it sorted soon.

Elliot, you've been around (openly) for six months now, so I won't call you newbie; but you really should know how thing work around here.

There's no real need to start another.
I can see that the thread has been hijacked and wandered off slightly with talkof hamsters and exercise bikes. And not even a single mention of shrink wrap or clingfilm; but I'd hate for you to feel the wrath of the mods and suffer membership of Bilko's LTC.

Just a quick update as to what happend earlier.
The company that houses our servers very kindly decided to take one of the database servers down without checking with us first - this left the site to run on a single database server, which it simply won't.
When the database servers are taken down, due to the size of the data (theres a lot of forum posts!) it takes around 2-3 hours per database server to sync them up again, we had to do two, so downtime was around the 5 hour mark.
Given the choice we would normally do any changes in the early hours of the morning, sadly our hand was forced today so we had no choice.
We are now looking at different solutions to the current setup to provide more stability and speed. We will get it right soon... promise
