This is just an observation but wondered if anyone else has an opinion.
In my normal life i come into contact with dozens of different people everyday & only about 10% of them smoke. Yet of the dozens of swingers i've met & also those that go on cam in the chatroom it seems at least 80% of them smoke. So the question is does smoking have any connection with swinging? Does nicotine have an as yet unidentifed side effect of making you more likley to be a swinger, in which case pass the fags :smoke:

It's not something I've ever thought about but now you come to mention it I've seen lots of women on cam smoking, and I know very few smokers in 'real' life. I could now launch into my 'addictive personalities and sex' ramblings but you are saved as I'm currently at work lol!

People now are made to feel smoking is a filthy dirty habit and as such some (and we do know who some of you are) deny they smoke in public to fit in as they say.. Now when they are relaxed and know you better or just chilling in a chat room its almost kind of annonymous so they let there guard down more ... Hope that makes some sence!!!!
We do know at least one none smoking couple who are social smokers!! Yes I know it makes em a smoker but they feel better and are more comfortable saying there not, not just to other swingers this is to everyone including there families!

It's like government stats. "90% of graduates get good jobs. Therefore we'll give everyone a degree so they can all get good jobs" - rather than jumping to the slightly more logical assumption that may be the graduates were motivated enough to go get a degree and hence more motivated to go get a good job.
So, here's my take:
10% of swingers are smokers. However, in a group situation of like minded people 90% of swingers smoke due primarily to 80% of the people thinking that if they're going to be kissing one of the 10% who are smokers they may as well try and disguise the ash tray taste by smoking themselves. The other 10% who are now the only non-smokers are voyeurs, they just like to watch people smoking.
Give me any stats, I'm sure I'll be able to come up with some perverse interpretation.

I smoke. I know I shouldn't and have said as soon as I have my bike, I'll give up ( not as easy to smoke on a bike as it is in a car 
) I do however ask any 'playmates' if they smoke before we meet. If they don't, then I don't while I'm with them.

Can't believe in this day and age with all the irrefutable proof around that people still pay £?? God knows what for a packet of coffin nails.
Can't wait for the law to change so we can enjoy Pubs, Clubs and Swing venues without coughing, spluttering and stinking for days on end.
Get real smokers - when you do give up you will so much more appreciate the fragrance of the world around you and you will appreciate it for longer.

well im not so sure about more swingers than vanilla's smoking i think its just an optical illusion its just steam caused by friction really :twisted:
