What's a cwtch?

Aah - it can be a hot as yer avatar. It can be as comforting as a warm soft place when the world hurts.

Can I have a large one please? I hurt lots
Come and have a cwtch with me FB til the cavalry arrives - I'm qualified - I have all that perfumed ample welsh bosom thing going on - and I'll do!
I KNEW you weren't really straight :giggle:
We had about 3 flakes and that was all last night though 4 miles down the road where I was working had a fair bit confused
A good 3 or 4 inches here. I've decided to keep my 12 yr old off school today because apparently there are no buses - and it looks as though the snow will continue throughout the day.
Seems I'll be going to work though rolleyes lol
About 5 inches here London at a stand still there are no bus services a friend said, kids off car are slipping every where.
Yes it's snowing and the buses trains planes and by god automobiles are all having problems. There is a severe weather warning in place and were told that we should stay at home. Why for goodness sake?
How do other countries cope with real snow falls? We always say in these times we are not prepared for it,so why dont we do some preparation in future. It's not as if we were not expecting snow! Even ASDA knew it was coming as they have sleds on sale. mad
Winter....snow!! Blimey who would of thought rolleyes
Well actually not a flake here so far

I think compared to some countries that are prepared in comparison we don’t have enough snow to justify the extra funding perhaps dunno
We really can't get out here we live in a close and we are lucky if the gritters get within a mile of us. We have tried to get the car out but completely pointless and not worth taking the risks.
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Snow Day!!!!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Schools etc close as it reduces the risk of anyone getting hurt on school grounds and local councils advise school closures as it also reduces the traffic flow....
was waiting for the bus at 6 o clock this morning. When it got to then I went home.
Looked so clean & peeceful outside earlier however now the kids are out having a snowball fight the peece has gone
I have snow as well!!
Made it to work ok, but vans and large lorries are sliding backwards down the hill that leads onto the Ind Estate, as they cannot get enough grip to get up the hill, and it won't be salted etc as technically it is a private road!
right... I am going to try and get into work... the trooper that i am.....
with it getting worse down the eastern side later on I am worried about getting home....
I have just heard the loudest crack of thunder here I in a long time.....
Glorious blue skies and sunshine here biggrin

And here! Though I've just popped home and on the way enjoyed a few snowflakes.
:karaoke: Ooooooooh, da dee dee da da da nose and eyelashes la la la la .... these are a few of my favourite things ....
We ended up with about 4-6 inches here. But the roads are ok-ish.
My worry is the morning. It is going to freeze here, and although some roads have been gritted, the ones leading out of my estate won't be. I plan to leave for work about an hour later than normal. That'll let the air warm up (maybe) and all the other cars to have activated the salt and grit to melt the ice.
we got loads in mansfield, tried to get mrs to be brave an pose but no luck yet!
Who gonna be the first to post some sexy pics?
four and a half hours it took me to get into work today
FOUR AND A HALF HOURS!!!
I saw bears and wolves and everything!
lp
Snow looks so good but i would still rather not have any.
We got some finally. Thank heavens I don't have to work until Weds night rolleyes
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
Not much snow but nevertheless we have a snow day!
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
