Vale of York
Plenty of it this morning, with intermittant flurries. Stopped now and the day has brightened up.
Update: Main arterial route to the A19 closed, but no suprise there as it negotiates two steep banks that are best descibed as two ajoining sky jumps.

That's unusual - there is rarely snow in the Vale, usually all round on the hills.

No snow here in Dorset yet

Bloody hell, you really are an optimist  Think we i.e. the south west are due an insignificant wet fart of snow sometime over the weekend.
free in Andover
next month I think. Just enough for thr slay
No snow in Somerset yet... but have my thermal vest on ready... wink
Nothing in Bridgend, South Wales but maybe some in the Heads of the Valleys.
Definately time to make sure that the antifreeze in your car is good enough. Cars ok, done the tractor this morning.
Smooth2
We have snow! In Bristol! It's just started. Yaaayyyyy. Sadly, we'll be leaving it in a few hours to drive to Kent  Guaranteed it'll all be gone by the time we get home

*touches wood*
Nope.
:smug:
And may it stay that way next week when I have quite a bit of driving on motorways to do. Pretty please. Snow is great when you have nowhere to go, no-one to see and nothing to do.
kiss LG. x
We have snow in Edinburgh... it's sort of lying. Just went to the supermarket, no snow before I went in although it was snowing out at my folks so I high-tailed it out of there and went to the shops. Came out an hour later and the car park was white.
Chucking it down now and there's a part of me that wants it to keep going cause I've just bought enough supplies to stay in and do some baking and generally just potter. First free weekend in ages and I'm delighted not to have to do anything with it!
Roll on more snow! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

It was all over by 6pm when little Tweeky came out of football training. Its settled a bit nothing more than an inch though. Suspect if there is any sun tomorrow it will be gone pretty quickly. No more forecast until Wednesday.
It's been snowing overnight here - we have about an inch smile
A very light dusting of snow here.

*wonders whether he should break it to her gently, or just lob a shitload of the stuff in under the duvet?*
We have snow. Round about an inch of the stuff, with more coming down as we speak. I let the ferrets out for a quick run round the yard while I cleaned their cage. It's the first time they've seen it, so were kinda fascinated, in a something's definitely different out 'ere and not entirely sure if they like it or not kinda way, trying not to put their 'ickle paws in it for too long. smile
N x x x ;)

Erm... scuse me Mr Nellie... but could I request that you video it if you're brave enough to lob some under the duvet? I don't think there's a post-it that would even cover that one!!
But I'd quite like to watch! :giggle:
Oh. you. would? Would. you? confused
Well, Ms DirtyGirty, I have the wonderful pleasure of being curled up nice and warm under (both) my blankets, all toasty warm in the living room after just skulking out of my lovely warm bed and leaving behind a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which I have nearly finished reading, again. While it has snowed outside... I am, in fact, snow free.... as is my duvet. :2fingers:
*waggles warning finger at Neil*
And that is the way it shall stay. smile *blows raspberry*
Well, I did go and speak rather too soon about the snow situation, and it has snowed. I'm a little gutted because I planned to get the last of my veggies out this weekend and now I'm looking at my crops thinking there isn't a hope in hell we're going to get any use out of any of it now. So, plans change eh. What to do with our day now? dunno
kiss LG. x
Course I would! You and I both know that if I were in bed at your house, you would have absolutely no problems in Nellie chucking snow under my duvet and in fact, there's a good chance you'd do the same! lol
My day is going to be productive! I've started cleaning, I have tunes blaring and I'm about to attack the bunny's cage! Then I plan to take myself to the cinema... is it sad going to the movies on your own on a Saturday night? Actually don't answer that!
Tomorrow, in my nice clean kitchen, I shall bake! Scones, fairy cakes, marshmallow things, chocolate brownies and maybe even chocolate fudge! Then I'm going to take it all to work and make them eat it!
Get a greenhouse for your veggies!

That's exactly it! Although I've just had the third power cut of the day so I'm moving into the cinema! :giggle:

Bolton: no sign here yet and I'm doing an anti-snow dance to keep it away smile

Now that I would like to see - and it has nothing to do with wanting to keep the snow away :rascal:
We've had quite a bit of snow here (Wiltshire) this morning. Enough to settle, but not enough to stop us doing anything. About to take the little ones out for a walk in it - but the skies look as though there more to come. Sappho will be staying here in the warm I expect.
I too have bought everything home from work in case I can't make it down to Soutampton on Monday.

You need snow to slay someone/something? I suppose the contrast of blood on snow is pretty eyecatching
