Just had my first meet for ages this morning, and I was shaking like a leaf even though we got on really well and talked for ages and ages, and I felt comfortable just having a nervous breakdown at the same time. LOL
You have to do what feels right for you and experiment and try things, maybe a munch and a totally social encounter to make some friends and get to know some people before you decide on what you really want to do.
Nerves and butterflies pass with experience, and you do get more confident and know better how to express what you want and help people with their wants too.
I just hope I can keep riding now I'm back on the horse and get past those very few nervewracking encounters.
I'm sure you will be fine. Make mistakes and do silly things and dont worry about it cause its better to regret what you have done than what you havent done.

I found it helped by picking someone who has been around (on this site!) for a while as they knew what to do or expect.
There was no pressure and I had a great time. I'm still a bit green (as in new to all this) but learning fast and enjoying every minute. There are some really wonderful people using this site, be prepared to have some fun!

please forgive me if im reading this wrong we all get nervous and get the butterflies when we meet but surley thats half of the fun i love the anticipation of meeting the thoughts on the way there and the initial meeting and the nerves that come with it

If it's to do with whoever you may meet then it's best to know how you want things to be. Eg, maybe your first meet will be strictly just a drink in the pub, no sex etc. Make rules you are comfortable with and make sure others abide by them. If you are not sure about something...then don't do it, you can always come back to it when you are.

Know exactly how you are feeling. We were incredibly nervous the first time we met another couple. We once ventured to a club and were petrified , we really want to go to another one but the nerves are getting in the way.
And like you I would love to try an extra guy (or3!!) but there is not enough Rescue Remedy in the world that could give me the courage!!
But I do know that everything we have done so far has been great fun and well worth the terror. So go for it girl and if you will we will!!

of course its daunting but there are loads of genuine nice people about, so try chatting first and see if you feel relaxed,
and you never know the name may just not matter
we do speak about this yes, and we have considered doing it together so to speak but he has also said he may not mind me going off to have some fun so long as i tell him all about it when I get home
