Hi all
Started looking on Sunday (I think), registered yesterday and seem to have spent all my waking hours on-site.
OK, having a week off work and being a bachelor right now has something to do with it, but WHY is this site so compelling?

Was thinking about this recently (as you do) and I reckoned that as Sexy Steph has said it's the people that make the site so addictive.
That coupled with the fact that, whilst sex is a big part of it and a common denominator so to speak, it's the general diversity of topics that just make it at times so interesting plus remember that unlike a lot of internet forums.....we DO all actually get to meet up at events in real life.
Captain Sensible.........prepared to be seriously addicted for some time yet before you get it, at least a little bit, under control.

I've only just joined too and have been here almost ever since. Not continually posting......I would, but the speed and originality of some of the replies is incredible. I find myself constantly amused and impressed at the directions some of the posts take. I'm hanging around reading them, scared to miss something perhaps, and waiting for an opportunity to join in ..............................like this, I've waited till the owls have gone to bed, but before the larks have got up yet.
To me it's not like (my perception only) an internet forum, it's more like a group of mates in a bar or a party. The conversation starts in one area, diversifies to another.......and then someone gets their clothes off...............Great innit!!!!

There's a munch happening this weekend in Glasgow, by some point on sunday you'll start to see the first posts filtering in from those who got home early on a "post-munch Thank You" thread.
You'll get some idea of how the evening went, what happened, who got pissed and all sorts of things. And that'll only be a very small part of the whole thing.
Munches aren't anything to be scared of, although they can be a bit nerve-wracking until you walk in the door. They are purely social and there to introduce "newbies" to the scene and meet people on here.
Have a peek at the "thank-you" thread and you'll get a better idea.... but until you have been to one you'll not know what you are missing...
