And the big question is Custard or Cream?

We always have sherry trifle after the turkey (family favourite)......
But I do LOVE Christmas pudding :P :P
Well (don't just love fulfilling stereotypes) we had deep fried Christmas pudding for lunch today lol It was yummy.
We will be having (non deep fried) on Christmas day flaming in Brandy with Rum Butter and Brandy Cream - and most likely cream and custard!!!!
Do you know that health and safety don't allow you to put money into in now. In case someone chokes I suppose. We serve it with a Garnish of Holly tied up with 5 pence on top instead of inside.

Now ya talking.
I love Chissy pud. So much so that my mum makes an extra one each year to use as my birthday cake
I love Christmas pudding - I just have to read the ingredients to make sure it's vegetarian though. And yes, cream please....
Mike.
Veggies eat dairy products so cream is okay!
But suet would definately not be okay!
Mike my neighbours have a business making veggie food and they do a veggie and vegan Christmas pud along with Clootie Dumpling which is yummy too.
Last year I had to have my christmas pud for about 2 weeks after christmas because I was bought so much, plus I had to have it with Creme Anglaise (French version of custard). The French just haven't got the hang of custard yet sad

Christmas Pudding? Oh my God, yes!!!! In fact, I can eat it any time of the year and have been known to buy loads of puddings in the sales and then eat them over the coming months
My preference is for hot Christmas pud with brandy butter and rum sauce! Woo-hoo :bounce: ........as MissChief might say.
Of course, I realise that Sappho and Sappho Junior may not like it. Shame  ...... All the more for me!!!! :bounce:
