OK I am putting out the feelers on this to see how many pepole would be interested b4 anything is organised.
There is a very strong possibility of holding a mini munch style social down in southampton.
It would be in a private members club.
There is a possibility of some of the members being there so it would definately be a social event during that part of the night.
At this venue there is attached a 3 bedroom flat, therefore space for peeps to stay in afterwards.
There is also a hotel litterally 2 mins walk away.
Due to this being a private members club it would have to be held on a monday night.
The date would be arranged if there is enough interested parties.

Call me naive but I am a little confused.
Is this an actual munch or a party?
It's just that as this is being held at a members only location, would not a bunch of non members at said location be a compramise to the club? For instance if you had numerous responses how would everyone get signed in?
Sorry to sound confused, but purely looking for clarification.
I realise that this must just be me as a mod has made no comment, but to others it may be important.
If it was purely a munch, rather than a "munch style event" then it sounds like fun so please count me in.

Just to confirm.
The couple that manage the club have chosen a Monday night due to it being the quietest night.
There are facilities for other outside groups to access the club on quiet nights.
The couple involved would ensure all relevant areas are covered .
Bearing this in mind and other comments on other social meetings I am being honest to the fact that there might possibly be other people outside this site.
If there is it will literally be only a couple of people.
This should pose no problems as far as we I am concerned as it is a "Vanilla Environment" where newbies will "fit in" alongside more regular people from this site.

OK peeps was hoping to get to Southampton and sort out a date but alas the couple concerned are unwell.
The reality is that it will be early January dure to alot of people having so many commitments before Christmas.
I will be putting up a posting in the Lets Meet Up Section as soon as I know more.
