well I have my reasons which I wont share outside of PM to the right people, but Father & Son (cat stephens) and no jumping to conclusions
well, Civil War by Guns N Roses always spoke to me because of the connection there, but Bob Seagers We've Got Tonight I really like

Wild Is The Wind - David Bowie
Feeder Comfort in Sound about the drummer who killed himself is moving,as are other songs that wouldnt spring to most peoples minds.
Radioheads Pyramid Song has really moving music and there are so many more that are close to me.
a song that really moves me is
Find Me by David gates - the words are awesome!
But one that got to me big time was "In the Living years" by Mke and the Mechanics
(came out at the time my Dad died!)
See, I totally misunderstood the point of this one, didn't I? I have told you all the ones I hate. Hmm. Soft songs that I like? That's a toughie.
Got one! It's... no.. it's gone.
Tuesday's Gone - Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Also, Simple Man, by Lynyrd Skynyrd too - Was one of my favourites anyway, but I was listening to it just before my Mum passed away a couple of years ago, and it chokes me now, it's a lovely piece of advice from a Mum to her son......
Rick.
gotta be bridge over troubled water by simon and garfuncul or everybody hurts by rem i do have a soft spot for bright eyes too by mr garfuncul as it was my dads favourite song at the time he died
Not for any particular reason but
Wicked Gameby Chris Issac.
The words have no particular meaning, I just find the song haunting. Anything by Evanescence
Also A Soft Place to Fallby Allison Moorer.
Iris by the Goo Goo Dollsand last but no means least Darren Hayes, Insatiable.
Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley
A beautiful version of a Leonard Cohen song
Stevie Wonder : Never dreamed you'd leave in summer.
'Affirmation' by Savage Garden
