that knows how to use bloody google :eeek:
currently arranging a meet for us and a friend with a few guys and when i have told the guys the location they have all asked "wheres that?"
i mean have they not heard of google?
when arranging the bbw bashes i get asked about the club, again GOOGLE
am i the only one that when unsure of something that heads straight to google?
i thought it was an automatic reaction for anyone that uses the internet but i must be wrong maybe i rely on it too much i don't know but i can only sing its praises it truely is my friend :silly:
Wheres google?
Sorry  lol

Nah Bouncy you're not the only one, although I do find I go to google and ask initially a quite simple question of it and see what comes up on the search and then think " Ooh what's that then" then follow that link and again... F*ck me i didn't know that" click. Off I go somewhere else clicking here clicking there clicking freaking everywhere losing the original search in a storm of, by now, unrelated searches. I can go from looking up the name of a town in Leicestershire to Namibian Dolomite mines in about four clicks.
What does usually ground me though is clicking on a link that, for instance, says something like 'Hammer toes - Surgical advances on' and I think "That's interesting"! What comes up? frigging camping mallets on E-bay biggrin
we've arranged scores of meets and got the same responce bouncy,i think they do know/ use google but that takes a little effort on their part.
I've seen posts in threads along the lines of "where can I get ammonia?" or "I need a recipe for chocolate brownies".
It's not like they were using the questions as conversation starters, or asking people for their own experiences. Is it them being a bit daft or pure laziness?
We need an emoitocon called :GIYF: (Google is your friend) - can't imagine what the image would be though. Little yellow person with a agnifying glass?
might do the trick...

I must point out that there ARE other search engines available to use! Can't think of any at the moment, might just have to google them?! lol

When I try to access it Spybot pops up to tell me it's a malicious link..... so I'm going to remove it for safety's sake. ;-)
Use this ....

I hate the reliance on Google. But then I also rely on it on a daily basis!
rolleyes
I miss the alternatives.
I used to laugh at people who used that stupidly named Google thing and always used , but I must admit Google has taken over now. But that's probably because it's moved on from it's roots as a simple text search engine.
However, if you want to use Google with some of it's extra bells and whistles you can't go far wrong with .
