Lou Reed's Berlin
takes me straight back to the damp attic flat i lived in with me first g/f at 17. so much so i can't bear to listen to it anymore! spine tingles and the hair on my neck bristles. it's a sad album anyway, but has so many associations for me that go with it.

Yes Neil! What an outstanding album this is! Every track is a haunting masterpiece! A sad story about a destructive relationship. There's one line that always gets me on 'Caroline Says' part II :
"She put her fist through the window pane/It was such a funny feeling"
Simlarly 'Perfect day' by Reed always gets me as well!
I'd also like to nominate 'The Wall' by Pink Floyd. All of it sends shivers up the spine. For example one of the darkest tracks 'Don't leave me now' is one chilling mind fuck.
I'd also like to nominate Alice Coopers, 'Billion Dollar Babies' Album, especially the title track and the last track 'I Love the Dead'.
Amazingly all of the above albums I have mentioned have been produced by top American producer Bob Ezrin. This guy is the master of tingles.

Song that just ent a shiver down my spine!!
Sexed up byt Robbie Williams (not a big Robbie fan!) what a great song!!
Damien Rice- Older matter how many times I play it,it gets me every time.
The other surefire winner isn't a song but MLK " I have a dream" hairs up, and I well up-beautiful.
Suzanne - Leonard Cohen. Superb.
All time number one for me is MoonShadow by Cat Stevens. This song and I have a long and complicated history.
Farewell, farewell ....Fairport Convention
Blackwaterside......Sandy Denny
Fear A'Bhata.......Capercaille
Canon by Pachbel
First couple of bars of Stray Cat Blues by the Stones
First couple of bars of Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits
any of those will do for me.
My song is:
"Evergreen" by Will Young.
The reason being that my choice:

LOST & he was well better than Wi.. I can't even type his name mad
I cry cause poor Gareth had to overcome so much & still lost... mad :censored:
So please do not play that song or any other by that Will Young at the Munch or see me go very CRAZYYYY.
We have a few that does the tingly thing -
Fantasy by Earth Wind and Fire, we saw these live when I was pregnant and, well....the tingles and the hormones just left me speechless.
The Carpenters - Rainy Days and Mondays
Mama's and Papa's - California Dreamin
Tina Arena - Chains
Evanescence - My Immortal
Clannad - In a Lifetime
I'll stop now, I could go on forever, lol redface
