Sorry about this moan

I know I am new here and all, but while I was browsing I keep having this problem with my PC and just HAD to have a moan about it, even if noone else cares, you know what they say, a problem shared is a problem halved and all.
Well, every now and then, my browser just dies on me, and I have to start all over again, I scanned my PC with mcafee and NoAdware, removed any virus/adware and other sneaky stuff like that but the problem is still there!!!
DAMN, I think it must be time for a new computer, mad

Ewwww! Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your browser?
Oooooh I feel so intelligent now :smug: Don't ask me what it means tho!!! :shock: I just read it somewhere and it looked good :lol2: Can't remember what else was written, a load of blurb on how to do it I think - but I kind of glazed over and didn't take it in :undecided:

So, I got a choice, uninstall, then reinstall,(sounds right, but too boring)
Or, the more fun option, poke it with a long stick, yeah, thats the one for me!!

now come on, I was always told to treat my PC like a woman, with respect and kindness, so i dont think that shouting and swearing is called for.
Unless, maybe, all this time I have been neglecting her needs and my pc is a dirty lil byatch.

HI Martay
Are you using MS Internet Explorer? You may find that using a different browser such as Mozilla Firefox might solve the problem. Apart from that, I find it to be far superior anyway, so its worth a look for that reason.
I treat my pc with respect.............. as long as she behaves herself, & if she doesn't she'd better watch out :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Well I always find my computers CD's work much better after being thrown around the room a few times ;)

I had a similar problem eventually i found out it was the broadband filter at the socket, i put in a new one and problem solved.

Well folks thanks for the tips, I am using mozilla now and it seems to be much better, and I think I will check that Broadbandfilter thing MidlandsMan.
Anyway, JudyTV, I reckon your the one I am gonna have to watch out for, not debbie, after reading a few of your posts!!
