Spammed by 'Mandy' ?

Here is a message recently received by someone whose ad I replied to (I guess, though I can't recall!) . So bizzare, it is either from someone who has just got her BT ! account and thought everyone else on the internet was Prince Charming, or it's a clever spam from AdultFriendfinder or some such designed to make me feel totally worthless unless I stump up $XX per month for ladies who will take me seriously (lol, as if!!!)..... if it was genuine, which I doubt, then 'mandy' needs a good talking to!

My reply would have been along the lines, well mandy if i was the type to send an explicit pic unsolicited to a sensitive soul such as yourself, would I be the type to take a blind bit of notice of your email? And if I was not, why subject me to your uptight tirade! However, the account has mysteriously discontinued - there's a surprise.
So - anyone else encountered this piece of clever(ish) spam. I've convinced myself that is what it is - which means that there are even fewer genuine F4M ads that even I imagined. :cry:

Hey Hey! Guess what I got in my mailbox...
I have replied to a number of ads in the photo-ads section and got spammed from them (and before a Mod jumps at me... no, sorry I can't remember which ones...).
That's just a fact of life for us single fellas...
Perhaps Mandy is collecting email addresses for a Xmas e-Card mail out? That would be nice!

OK, I'll own up... I do send cock shots...
BUT, the only time I do is when its a "seeking well hung male, face and cock shot etc.," or if i'm asked politely by someone (you know who you are ;-) )
I don;t recall a "mandy" advertising, or if they did the advert was of the type that made it clear that it was a "I want a cock," not that worried what you look like just as long as you are horny and find me horny....
If it was a spam, the idiot forgot to put the "click my link" on it... or I got the email as one of the ones that didnt send a cock shot to that particular advert...
Then again, its a swinging site, and if the advert is blaitently "sex" orientated and not friends, social, few meets, see if we click... then whats the problem with just showing what you have; someone advertises for a cock to satisfy, then heck show the goods so to speak! I'm in this for the fun, sex, and if it happens as a bonus some great firends... but primerally its about swinging and fun is it not?

Hey guess what!! I got one too and I've certainly not sent anything. They must be harvesting emails from the site, I don't have an ad but my email is on my profile.

I've opted not to show my email address on my profile, and the only people who know it are SH members who I know personally. Hence I get NO spam at that address. For some, this might constitute a lack of wanted exposure, but since I have no wish to be contacted via this site except by active forum members, it's no loss to me personally.

I have given out my mail addy on the forum though.
How about if all the single guys (Who this stuff always happens too), jots down all the ad numbers. Then, if this happens again the mods can step in and, from looking at the ad numbers replied to, find the culprit! HA HA!

I havent passed on the email addy to the mods, tho if one one else has I can, but even the private "dont show email" adverts have a real email address that a response to is forwarded to, so the mods can work out who the advert was from...
Then again, I could haev got the spam from other sites as I've never withheld my email address, my web site has it on publically anyways so it would be stupid to hide it!

And no, it's not registered in either the photo-ads section or the forum so they're not a member of Swinging Heaven. It's just spam which will no doubt eventually lead you to a "pay as you get ripped off" site. Just bin it.

I had it too. The strange thing is though it came to the email address from my advert, which is hidden, and not to the email address for the forum, which isn't hidden. I hadn't responded to any adverts in months though so knew it was obviously spam. Would be interesting to find out how they got my email addy though, or whether it's just normal spam and a coincidence that I happen to be registered on a swinging site.

Hello all,
I've had that one too. I've also had a few emails from what I thought were genuine members linking me to another swingers website, stating "If you are serious and want to contact me please go here and email me".
Of course the link she gave was to the main page of the website and not to her page itself, although after a little searching I did find her ad and surprise surprise; the wording was exactly the same as I was sent. Cut-&-paste-tastic!!
