Is your scoot restricted? If it is you can argue the toss and try and get them thrown out on appeal ( see a soliciter is your first step - and don't bullshit him ) If it isn't, and you think you're guilty, you'll have to suck it up.
How old is your licence BTW?

exactly what i was about to say - and that was the advice my boss gave me when i got caught speeding by a camera at work (3 pts and 60quid for being 1mph over the limit!!!)
It's not a full licence, and I believe that Nine points could constitute a ban, unless you hold a full licence, when it's still twelve I believe.
I hope you don't get banned Scatty.
John
sad
i was caught going 40 mph over (30 speed limit).it cant be
what if i put the blame on a random person with their address and full name from another they bother to look further into it!
I thought two tickets in your circumstances and you had to hand back your licence.
Am I wrong on this xx confused: :?: More than likely lol
I thought 50cc's were restricted to 30 mph only?

im sure they will pursue it. just find someone who dosnt use their licenc oap or student etc and get them to agree to take the rap!! it will however cost you
why do i just know someones going to object to this post?
Are you for real, you are the person who was caught, if your that irresponsible that you managed 3 tickets in two months, then you bloody deserve banning.
Jas
I am in my first year of my license and 6 points is enough to get you banned.
ADVICE NOW >>>>>>>>>
Buy a Push Bike
i had one for two gives me hemmeroids if that the correct also takes definition out of my legs.I prefer slow running, walking and aerobics for my cardio.i am a natural bodybuilder you see

While on the subject of speeding
Anyone know if the cameras & vans on the bridge over the M25 between J7 & J6 (M23 & A22) today were mobile speed cameras?. Know they are on the M4, but not seen them on the M25 before.

If you persist in motorised transport, don't forget to tell your insurance company ( failiure to do so may in validate your insurance ), until such time as you stop collecting photos of your back.
Ps, I drive fast all day long, but I haven't been caught ( just keep a very good eye out )
Now that I got all the mocking out of the way, one useful piece of advice ( but still find a soliciter to check this ) you might avoid a ban IF you can prove you need the scooter ie you start or finish work when public transport is not running - but ( and I cannot emphasise this enough, See a soliciter
Only advice you can really use is buy a bus pass.
You can use the money from the sale of your now redundant scooter biggrin

You won't get away with that because if they are unable to trace the person you nominate, they will automatically put the points on your licence as the owner of the vehicle.
You broke the law mate. Just pay up and stop whinging rolleyes
Tracy-Jayne
Bet you wished you'd kept quite about the tickets now!
mmmmmm not sure about what the others thinl/know but I do know 1 thing biggrin don't ask me how cos paul won't say lol says if was a mate from america or anywhere abroad the police normaly won't bother but u will need to supply the name and address of real people and a real address and say they was driving

But if they can prove they weren't he will still get the points on his licence!
Besides, that's a shitty trick to pull. How would you like it if someone gave your name as the driver of a speeding vehicle and you got points on YOUR licence evil
ffs! this guy needs to grow up and accept his responsibilites rolleyes

Look on the bright side - just think how fit you will be after all that walking and running for the bus. Not to mention when said bus is late/doesn't turn up and you end up walking anyway.
mmmmm
Could "Scatty" be a future Cat & Fiddle speedster I wonder and just on a practice run confused:

If that's the case he'd best learn to carry a shovel and a bin bag on his bike - it'll help the coppers clean up after a smash. sad :uhoh: :yinyang:
You could do any of the above, but if you get caught doing it, it could be classed as attempting to pevert the course of justice, which courts (and trust me that would be a court visit) tend to look on unfavourably.
First thing to do if you want to contest is to as to see the evidence. Any glitches etc may be a way of getting out of the fine and points.
Next is to go and see a soliciter who specialises in road offences. He'll know the ins and out far better than anyone you ask on here (unless they're a soliciter who specialises in.... yada yada).
Finally go to court and argue your case, but be warned if you loose you will probably be asked to cover court costs and if it's clearly you commiting the offence you may have an additional charge of wasting the courts time added.
Have a look round for more info etc.
Don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time...
Accept your punishment and learn your lesson.
Unlucky...
