Spoof Couples Adverts

I am new to the forum but have had an advert on the profiles section of the site for some time.
As a single male looking for couples I had very low expectations of getting hundreds of replies from sexy couples desperate for my company! I haven't been disappointed, to date I have had three emails (in over a year) and two of those I think were people just curious or guys fantasising about sharing their partners! lol
Its not a problem, I am in no rush! lol
Recently, however, I sent a few replies off of my own to couples looking for guys, I guess I sent probably 7 emails in total.
I have received back five emails which are clearly people advertising paysites for contacts, many of them the same paysite. The email if received as a one off appears half genuine, it is personal and thanks me for my response to the advert and then goes on to say that they (the couple) have had many false replies and have decided to join a different site which is more 'selective' and from which they have had much greater success in meeting 'genuine' horny single guys! The 'suggestion' is clear... come join this site and you will meet lots of sexy couples just dying to meet you! When you receive the same email several times in a matter of days from different 'couples' it is pretty clear it is a scam.
Needless to say I have not rushed off and joined the sites.
Just wondered if anyone else has had similar experience? and how many of the adverts are genuine and how many spoofs? Maybe I am naive but I did actually get the impression that for the large part SH was frequented by genuine fun lovng adults who have enlightened themselves to the fun that can be had with the odd bit of recreational sex or fantasy fullfillment
