So the new Bond film is out this weekend and I am really looking forward to seeing it (no matter what the critics say).
I have to say that I was very doubtfull about Daniel Craig being any good as a Bond, but I was very pleasantly suprised in Casino Royal. He was very rough and ready and extreamly sexy. I have always thought that the 'real' James Bond was Sean Connery but Daniel Craig is certainly a very close runner up :twisted:
So who do you think is the 'real' James Bond?

always said that sean connery is the definitive bond - but you know what ............ mr craig is making a damn fine job of filling those boots - so we haven't voted as we remain undecided

I like both sean connery and Roger moore. I must confess I havent seen the lastest couple of films.
I really like the suaveness of Moore I also liked him in the saint. So I have voted for him but a close call.

Hunt for Red October, The Russian Sub Commander- Sean says 'Get off ma wee boot' in a very Scotish tone
Indiana Jones- Father of the American Adventurer- Sean Says 'There's a moose , loose aboot this hoose Indy' and what a suprise, it's Scotish sounding.
As an actor he's crap, as someone who can convince you he's not really Scottish he just talks a little different he's really bloody good. wink

I watched Daniel Craig In Tombraider the other night and wow what a difference in him. Skinny runt and different colour of eyes. rolleyes
OK they were still blue but not as blue as they are when he is James Bond so obviously tinted contacts then.

I have to admit I don't like the Bond films. Roger bloody Moore and his cheesy lines put me off confused Think the last one I saw was never Say Never Again

Well for me i am stuck between three "Bonds"....
The first for me is Sean Connery for what i think Bond would be like from the books.
Then it is Roger Moore for the one liners and bringing a little wry humour to the character.
And last but by no means least it is Pierce Brosnan for bringing the character up to date and making him a blooming good looking man.
I have yet to make up my mind about Daniel Craig in the role, as i have not seen Casino Royale rolleyes but, i'am going to see Quantum Of Solace on monday thanks to Busty!! worship
But if his acting in his past projects like Our Friends In The North is anything to go by he should be pretty bloody good!!!

Get yourself to Blockbuster quickly then as QoS follows on directly from CR and a lot of Bond's driving force in the story is based on events that happened in CR.
No doubt it will be done in a way that enables the film to be viewed as a standalone, but the experience will be better if you see what led up to it.
