If given what you now know. Would you of started swinging earlier, when you did or later?
I thought about this for a brief time and though at the outset I thought yup, I would of started as a young bloke. I then thought some more and decided that for my own reasons i'm glad we didn't start till just two years ago. Although I am glad we did.

i guess ive started pretty young so i wouldnt change it, dek wishes he had started earlier (but if he had he wouldnt of met me!)

Yes, my ex was the same, although we had very good friends who were swingers when we where in our 30s (probably a better time to make judgements for many folk than when younger). The trouble is, I've probably left it till too late now :!:

Not changed a thing, I'm happy with the way we started, when we started and how we're progressing now. We're not as much into meeting these days I have to be honest more for the fact we're just so damned busy (then tired! sad )

I suppose it all depends on if there is a comprehensive and reliable definition of a "swinger"
My view is that doing what you do. If you want to class yourself (wear the badge i guess) as a Swinger then thats your entitlement. I was just bottling and labellimg the unlabelable (sp)??? I rarely actually indulge in any of the physical stuff with J but I love being there when she does. S does not doing stuff exclude me. Nope why because i say so. biggrin

I knew I wanted to experience something more than one to one's whilst I was single about 20 years ago though there wasn't the internet back then!
However I then quite happily ended up in a long term relationship for many years, I only turned back to the idea of swinging when I became single again and this time there was the internet AND also SH!

I voted for not change a thing. We had been together for 11 years before we started swinging and had thought about it for a year or two before that.
I think that our own time before swinging is what makes our swinging time great now as we totally know each other in body and mind.
Although, we are changing in what we want and like, we are changing and exploring together. Knowing that we do have that special bond together makes swinging all the more exciting, interesting for us.

Good point about the internet - it has altered so much, now people in so many areas now know there are many others of like mind and can chat to them.

I've always consider swinging as more of a mindset rather then something we do. Just like sexuality is a mindset, you don't suddenly become straight or gay overnight simply because of a physical act.
Then again swinging is defined as something different by each and every person. They is no right way nor wrong way, but we all play differently, and in turn all have different opinons on it.
