Well tomorrow is my last day at my job sad cause i start a new one in two weeks smile
But as it happens today im offered a pay rise biggrin and the chance to move to a different shop with better prospects.
But on the other hand my new job is a ikkle bit more money and although in the same line of work, its completly different confused
So should i stick to what i know best or take the new challenge :?: :?: dunno :dunno:
Need to move away from certain colleagues? (nudge nudge, wink wink) Maybe changing companies would be best.
If you have not sexually harrassed anyone in your current job (and why not) then you'll have to ask elsewhere. biggrin
Uhm, go, go, go.
It's annoying when employers offer more wedge as soon as you look like getting a better job.
Like you only just became worth that money 'cos you were leaving rather than you are worth it because of the work you do.
Alternatively, uhm STAY!!
Then tell the boss that if they're prepared to offer a bit more, they can beat the other offer if you are worth it. Grab him/her by the short and curlies and demand your multi million pond contract.
There you go, a nice, decisive bit of advice confused
lol Thanx Vix... I think i need to get away from my manager shes like a mini hitler confused
As for the sexual harrassment...well i work with 6 women and 1 guy wink
Plus at the new job theres a cute horny guy who works there rolleyes
. o O (new blood) O o .

If you work in a women only sex shop I think you should leave.....then I can have your old job!
I'd love to assist the ladeeeez in the buying of their erotic products!
Infact I'd do it for free!

I agree with Ginsters completely.
Even if you have definately decided to go it is still worth the sport of seeing how much your employer would go to! wink
Rechon if the new job gives you a fresh challenge and something new to get your teeth into go
if your current emplyers valued you then they should have rewarded you without the nudge thats why i changed jobs now much better off although work alone so rapidly losing personality  assuming i had 1 well i think i did who said that
good luck whatever you decide

Kinky Lizard....if i worked in a sex shop i would DEFINATLEY NOT be leaving :P
I can think of nothing better. I wonder if u did work in one if they would let you sample the goods confused:
Maybe you should look at what other benefits the two jobs offer.
Is it's better to be a big fish in a small pond but with limited rescources.
Or is it better to be a small fish in a big pond with far more rescources available to you.
Does one offer a better pension scheme? (Although these days who's to say what might happen to it)
Are the promotion prospects better in one company than the other?
Some thoughts to dither over.
Rich
If your current employer is offering you a pay rise just to try and hang on to you then chances are they are potentially paying a little more than they want to just to keep you. Therefore the chance of another meaningful pay rise in the near future is slight.
However the company that is taking you on is offing you what they are offering you (which I tihnk you said is slightly more than current even with increase) based on not knowing you, so if you impress them and exceed their expectations there is potentially plenty of scope for further rises.
So from a pay point of view I'd say you've got more potential from the new people.
Against that is the whole "better the devil you know" situation in that you know what to expect from your current employment situation. However since it sounds like you don't like your boss then it doesn't sound like there is much to lose...
Any help?
mmm tough choices
personally being offered a payrise shows the want you
and if you think you can stay in your presant job and be happy .....stay
but if its new challanges ..you want ...then go
but ive always found the grass is'nt greener in another job
