I can think of no occasion when you've 'bothered' me ........mistakenly disagreed with me perhaps but........
Sorry, that was based on the "self satisfied self important smugness" of which I am occasionally guilty.
As for "mistakenly disagreed" with you, there would be definitely no mistake, as it is all down to opinions. You obviously felt you were right, I felt you were wrong, and at no time will I ever change my opinion to suit others, only if the facts led me to form a different opinion.
Even on the number of occasions you were clearly wrong.

Post masters/mistress's that tut or roll eyes when you arrive with a large bag of parcels :mad: Or that complain you have brought them at the wrong time of day or even the wrong day.
I'll bring my parcels whenever I like ASSHOLE and your so lucky that glass is there cus if you tut me again I'll poke yer fucking eyes out :twisted: Having spent £700+ on postage last year I dont want to be tutted or talked to like a child you ungrateful wankers :kissmyarse:

Tweeky, I had similar problem with loads of recorded deliveries, I mentioned it to the post master when some of the staff seemed less than pleased having to process my letters and offered to take them elsewhere if it was a problem. It wasn't a problem again. wink

Shit happens, sometimes locking is needed when things get out of hand, a little bit of common sense would help a lot from those that prefer to trade insults rather than stick to the subject in hand.

I agree common sense should used, shame really that it had to be you that locked the Pope thread where it was about as offensive as it gets.
Yet a moderator issued a only a warning before you locked it. dunno

why was that? I am sure some members would be interested to know why the inconsistency.
Davey has said I can start another Council thread even though the last two were locked. It got to 24 pages and I cannot remember a thread that was not a sticky getting to that many pages.
Can I be bothered? Sorry st3v3 but not for a second.
I will let others start one up but to be honest I do not think they will be bothered either.

Self moderation would be better. If however, a member is still abusive or offensive then do feel free to raise a support ticket and each example will be looked at on a case by case basis
