Well what a weekend!!!.......
There we were all packed up and on our way to have a lovely weekend at a dinner dance (you know the sort of thing, bow ties, posh frocks etc) and we get to my mums.....
Steve had been complaining of heartburn since he got home on Friday night around and had woken me during the night as it was so bad. Whilst at my Mum's it got worse.... Alas it wasn't heartburn.... We had to call an ambulance at about and he was rushed to hospital having suffered a heart attack....
He is okay but they are keeping him in for 5 days to monitor and treat him.... The down side for me is that the hospital is 35 miles from home, so the hours I will be zippiing up and down the M6 will be rediculous this week....
They are saying that he will be released on Thursday so I imagine he will be back online shortly after that as he hates to miss any of the gossip....
I know he is feeling better because he has complained about the fact that he missed out on a night of drinking and perving....:roll:

At least they dont tell you to abstain from sex otherwise I might be feeling like Venus in another thread :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol:

Didn't get any last night just downpours but there was sleety kind of snow tonight...
Quick update..... Steve has been for3 little walks today, although I think the leaflet that explains what you can do each day really meant only one
He is feeling really good and wasn't tired or feeling poorly afterwards which is brill...They are giving him his treadmill test tomorrow, I have asked for pictures of the event as it is a rare event
:lol:He said to pass on his thanks for all your messages and will be back posting as soon as he gets home. He will be kicked out on Thursday, it's all a matter of what time :lol:
As for me, I will be very glad to get him home as all the driving and having to see my mother is taking its toll :lol:
Ooohhh and one other thing..... As the poor bloke has just had a heart attack be gentle with him, dont excite him too much :wink: :lol: :lol:

Hope Shireen doesn't mind my comments, but i've just come back from visiting Steve in hospital. Shireen was there also, so nice to see you both again xxxxxx.
When I got there Steve was negotiating with the hospital staff for a nurses uniform. Thing is, I'm sure he said it was for him. Sorry this cold I have makes some things difficult to hear.
All I can say is that after just a cpl of days, Steve is looking remarkably well. Infact too well if you ask me. They are feeding you too well in there Steve, or is it the fact you're just being fed?
Anyhow keep up with the recovery mate, and you'll get out of there real soon.

Got home earlier today....
Feel much better than I did but I fear it will take some time to get back fitness levels etc...
At the moment walk upstairs to go to the loo and back is about as much as I can do......lol

having been there myself m8 I know it aint nice, lucky for you it seems you have a real big lady willing to pander to your needs
take it easy and dont rush things, just kick back for a time. I think everybody would agree with it being better your being here at half power for a while than not being here at all
