Sad to say they do nothing for me. :-( Stockings can look very nice as part of an outfit, but as clothes come off so should they. When a woman gets onto a bed wearing stockings... well, let's just say I have the reaction she'd have if I were wearing only my socks. smile

Besides, does anyone else find that stockings can chafe your legs in some positions? Or is it just me...?

my personal line on this is that they are over rated , although in the right circumstances ....setting ..ambience etc they might float my boat.

Ah....stockings. It's akin to putting a picture in a frame and the nicer the frame the prettier the picture. biggrin

Badly fitting ones look awful. Can't stand the sight of stockings being stretched to just above the knees by suspender belts. Nicely fitting to the top of the thigh please.
Hold ups are passable but are a poor second IMHO. As for fishnets (no matter how small the netting) forget it. Nicely fitting shear stockings are sexy.......fishnets I find tarty.
Nothing wrong with wearing them on the bed but not between the sheets. Between the sheets give me nekkid every time.

Have to say I prefer black or even white to tan.
Let's not get into the stereotypical slim, long legs etc........there are lots of sexy women on this site that don't need to try to live up to expectations of the catwalk.
I'll stick with nicely fitting.

Do you agree with a theory I once heard that they wrinkle around the ankles in their own way which makes them identifiable from tights?
Speaking of which,I think tights are not at all sexy as a rule. I do think that they're unhealthy if worn for any length of time.
But pulling down a ladies knickers over a suspender belt is sooo erotic.
Hold-ups... Could suggest that is cheating, but better than tights.
Suspender tights...A sexy compromise.
Methinks we've opened up a whole new debate here. Or, a can of worms ?

I am fortunately old enough to remember when all girls wore stockings, tights had not been invented. In my teenage days the reinforced band at the top was known colloqually as the giggle line. Once you were past it you were laughing. lol

Stockings still turn me on (even at my age) but there are limits.
Nora Batty's corrugated legs are a turn off, as are those which have a roll of flesh hanging over the top band. But on a well formed leg, stockings of the right size are GGGRRREEEEEAAAAAATTTTT.
