For years I've been a hold ups girl, but a few months ago I invested in a suspender belt and some fully fashioned seamed stockings from (the link wasn't working last time I tried, but I know they've been having issues lately and were working on them) and I'm a convert. Proper suspenders with 6 straps or more and metal clasps... they're SO comfortable, and look fab ;) I'm a convert!!

Now lets throw all this talk of stockings or hold-ups out of the window and get down to the nitty gritty of the matter.
The simple fact is that nothing beats a pair of really smooth, thick, black tights with no underwear underneath and a gorgeous person with sharp teeth tearing them off you... the way the fabric rips noisily, taking a little bit of time to be torn, then having them tear desperately, breathing heavily, trying to get at you. The material falling away as they gently lap at you before rolling the remaining material off your legs and throwing them towards your face so they rest just over the eyes...

I used to wear hold-ups with suspender belts until I started getting a rash from the grippy latex stuff around the tops. It stopped them slipping down my legs and showing below the hem of my skirt when I was at work :twisted:
I used to wear the sussy belt as well because of the visual effect for certain eyes only

Try wetting the elastic band and they dont move, infact you end up peeling them off at the end of the night
Hold up are more practical but I do think suspender belt and stockings are more sexy (and the belt can hide any bumps or bulges I dont want to be too obvious). I do find it hard to buy nice stockings these days as most shops only seem to have hold ups so have to revert to good old ebay or other on-line shop for them :wink:

ohhh i don't like it, if i wear stockings i like the tops to be straight, so hold ups with suspenders it is im afraid lol

Ann Summers do nice lace top stockings for about a fiver a pair. They can take quite a bit of punishment too

Good stockings are very hard to find in shops & the best place is stockingshq.
Last week I did buy some from the market & when I opened the packet I joked with Ste saying they looked like they had already been worn & washed, when I went to put them on they had several ladders in them! Last time I try the market

I have decided my legs are to short and fat for sussies and stockings I need bigger size stockings to go round the fat but bigger sizes are longer and go higher up the leg and even when the sussie straps are on the shortest bit they are still to long :shock: Unless I cover my boobs with the belt

FB, they have everything there, seamed, fully fashioned, even the proper suspenders (with metal clasps.. I'll never go back to plastic clasps again!) and reasonably priced, good quality stuff too.
I have to say its interesting to see the different opinions on this thread.
Myself I much prefer stockings and suspenders cause hold ups either don't stay up or cut my circulation off!!
And suspenders belts with metal clasps are sooooooo much more reliable too!! And six strap suspender belts are a gift from God!! :lol:
