Thay are frghtend .......and just so scared that thay just cannot bring tham selfs to take the plunge.........................I no it took me a while.... .as you all come across as being so inteligent........ eps those of us that cannot swell uupps...SPELL...................and those that havent much exp in using the pc skills!

As for the non-posting registered users on here. I guess some might think that they need to register in order to view everything (even though they don't), and also there is a LOT of PMing going on around here and that doesn't show against their post count in the memberlist.

if you only knew just how many posts i've later edited, deleted, regretted, spent all day stewing about ((( seriously ))) i'm not naturally confident. i'm a shy, overly introspective worrier at times!
the simple fact is, my first 200 posts were shite! i know it cos i occasionally reread em but i also know from time to time i get em kinda right, cos i get pm's telling me so. most of us talk absolute b*ll*x at times on here, but it's the posting as much as the actual posts, that open all kinds of possibilities on here, and thats why people have hundreds and hundreds under their belt! IMHO. keep posting. great people here who respond to a little effort! ;-)

Its not so much down to confidence, especially on a forum such as this, there is the luxuary of being slightly hidden in the initial stages.
I know as even tho my friends in the various scenes I frequent always tell me I dont come across as confident, I do a damn good impression
A first meet, infact every first meet with anyone, is probably the most nerve racking occasion possible... but the day it stops giving me butterflys is the day I stop.
Same with my work, the day I dont worry about doing a good job of photographing someone and dont wonder if I'm going to make someone look their best is the day I look for another job to do...
With both the above, its the chalenge to create a good impression, to try something new, to be accepted and respected, and to have a good laugh along the way that creates the buzz.
