Guy from the paper shop round the corner was called Bill Sicle. We used to taunt him ( after buying sherbet dip ) with the Queen song ' I want to ride my bicycle' .
Oh to be 23 again lol
You won't believe this but I swear it's true. I know a man whose surname is Kurton. His wife is Annette.

You're right, I don't believe it, but I'm rotflmao anyway :lol2:
Then there was Johnny Hucker. Not too bad I suppose, but his future wife refused to take his name, until he pointed out that if she kept her surname, their kids would be doubled barrelled viz Cox-Hucker.

I don't know anyone with a funny name, though Wayne Kerr makes me laugh.

There used to be a reporter on my local newspaper with that name
And a friend of mine swears that the woman in the next bed to her in hospital was seriously considering calling her daughter Emma - until my friend told her she couldn't, as her surname was Royds
My dad got me similarly when I was pregnant with my son and considering names ... My dad suggested Ward ... which I really liked until he sniggered .... our surname is Robe!!!!!
 I blame pregnancy brain ...

It's certainly an appropriate name for a NOTW journalist.
DO YOU KNOW THAT NEWS JOURNOLIST ON BBC 1 LONDON CALLED RIZLA TEETH.
{WHO TEETHED ME RIZLA'S THEN}TEETH AS IN TO STEAL. 'THIEF' WEST INDIAN TERM.
Names I once encountered that I thought were a piss take until I saw the pair of them being interviewed for the local news, with their names proudly displayed at the bottom of the screen:
Everard Dick
Ophelia Dick
