HELP
I have recently been receiving and forwarding emails with JPG attachments and it was brought to my notice that if you click on the slide show there are other pics attached.
"Why are you worried?" I hear you all ask.
Some of these pics are avatars and headers from this site!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know why this happens - Do I have anything to worry about (virus wise aswell as SH wise)?
Look forward to your replies
Thanx

My mate showed me the same on his.......he didn't know why and neither did I.
I have been wondering what my boss has been thinking when I have sent work pictures in if these are attached as well  .
I would like to know why it does this as well.........and it is not just a SH thing. His problem is from his brother in Germany when sending jpegs to my mate......on the slide show can be attached 20+ pics what his brother has been viewing..........we now know what his brother views

What's happening is when you open the pic it stores it in the temporary internet files folder which also holds images from the websites you've been browsing so you don't have to download them everytime. When you do a slideshow it just cycles through these, they are not sent out with the picture.

procedure for Delete internet temporary files
open your browser
go to tool bar at the top of the screen
select tools
internet options
then delete temporary internet files
you should regularly delete these files as they can take up a tremendous amount of space on your hard drive and slow your machine down one drawback is sometimes your access passwords are stored in this area and will not automatically and initiate when required,,,
Sounds to me like some kind of virus if E-Mails are send or forwarded without you initiating it
Is this thread in English ?
Hi,
In itself this is nothing to worry about and is likely to be ralated to settings on your computer. When an email is sent, some mail systems do not display the header logo, but store it as just another image attachment.
If you have your mailbox set to HTML and "view images" then you should not have this problem (if I have understood it corectly) although you have a slightly less secure mail system. I presume you have ant-virus/ anti-spyware programes running?
