Can i just say well done for stopping photo ads from being trawled by the search engines.
However could you add the line into the file
Disallow: /swingers-forum/
For those that dont know what this means, it means that every Dick and Harry cant search on the internet for your username etc etc and get access to everything that you've typed on the forums ....... i typed in my username and google pulled up messages that I typed back in 2005..
I know that having a forum that is trawlable will generate a lot more traffic to the site... but think about the privacy of the people on here!

i agree.....because i use similar usernames to this one in other accounts..(stupid i know!!)...my supervisor managed to google my username thinking he was looking for my webpage on piczo........it came up with a few of my forum posts.......luckly he didnt notice the list of quims in the google search before i explained that my page wouldnt be listed and closed the window down.......but how close was that

So you picked user names such as HornyBunny and Quimninja and you're worried that people might search for you to see if you are on any sex type forums.
Now why on earth would anyone think that of you when you have such innocent names. :shock:

I can't honestly see the seach engine stuff being removed for the sake of your privacy, it's been part of the site for as long as I can remember and it brings new people to the site.
Don't give out your username for here if you're worried or if you use the same or similar user name elsewhere then perhaps you could consider changing one of them.
Lot easier for admin than losing additional traffic.
If you post on here you become a googlebrity at some point :lol: :lol: I can remember when people used to get excited by it :lol: :lol: :lol:
