Bit of a sweeping statement that Geez! America is a huge place with something like five times our population. Hence five times the nutjobs. I would guess that the percentage of 'strange people' in the American population is very similar to ours.

the same percentage accounts for a lot of strange people
didn't really mean to get at teh americans but some of the people on that programme were wierd and I don't reckon I could drink 2l of coke in a day never mind at a meal and I always thought I was a bit of a junk food junkie!

Did anyone notice the references to poor diet and bad performance at school? It reminded me so much of Jamie Oliver's effort in the UK and wonder how much inspiration he had gotten from Supersize Me as the film had already been out before he did his documentary.

as an american... who was living in america when super-size me first came out, I feel I must speak out for those of us who don't eat fast food... or drink soda. There are some of us who are not vegan purists but also not fast food/crap food junkies either. We exist and we're as normal as... ok well i'm not normal but I don't eat that stuff.
edit: I should point out that I thought that movie was gro-oss.
