Hi all,
I`m a life long naturist/nudist. I`ve never had problem with nudity. And it was only through naturism that I discovered the wonderful world of swinging. But i`m curious to know from others, did they discover naturism first or was it swinging that introduced them to naturism? Either way, have you any funny stories to tell how you came to be a naturist or swinger?

Warming the Bed
Some clubs who advertise naturist events like Kestrel Hydro will have two porn dvd lounges around the venue to encourage cpls and small groups into sexual activies. That is how the swinging gets started.
We started as naturists on a nude beach, I found it so much of a turn on knowing men were looking at me and of course me looking at men nude, that we started "playing". We then visited Silverleigh and Eureka and found even more fun. We now visit Chameleons a lot and really enjoy the swinging life. Hence naturism first.

What was initial spark that made you try naturism? I too find it a great turn on to be sun and air on the body is a very sensual thing. It`s not hard not to feel horny in that environment.
Do you "play" at the beach too, or just at clubs or home?
I live close to Silverleigh and Eureka in Kent, so maybe i`ll see you there sometime.

We started going nude on the beach as a result of walking onto a nudist beach one day and not having any swimwear, so just stripped off and enjoyed it so much, we continued.
We do "play" on the beach but only out of view of others who may not wish to see or join in, we would hate to cause offence.
We intend to visit Eureka again in he summer as we have had some nice times there.

Depends how far you want to go back, if the story is to be believed then Adam and Eve were the first Naturists beating the first swingers by a quite a few years but if you don't believe the story then the earliest documented swingers would be the Romans at their orgies. Don't kid yourself that either Naturism or Swinging are things that started in your lifetime, not in the 50s or the 60s, we are talking BC here, it might not have used the same labels but was just as popular. All through history there are stories of Arab orgies, pagan orgies, sexual rituals involving many people, Vlad the Impaler was supposed to be heavily into BDSM.

We started out as nudists. Went naturist on beaches, enjoyed being naked in public. It moved to camming, and then to clubs. Seems like a natural progression. Although now, given the choice, we opt for clubs over anything else. x

I first went to a club (which happened to be naturist) with the intention of playing, and spent a very nice afternoon sun bathing naked (which was a first for me). Then I spent a very pleasant time with a lady at the club.

Our first swinging club was the much missed Hamshaws at Hayward's Heath which was an old naturist club that had turned into a naturists swinging club so we moved seamlessly from one to the other .
As most of the people we meet are odd like us we quite often have a giggle on the drive home about something or another that has been said or happened. .

Swinging, love my lingerie! so which came first? I've never now nor will I in the future be into naturism as I much prefer the mystery of 'hidden gems'.
How did I get into it? Was lead astray of course!
The Egyptians and Babylonians predate Romans by at least a 1000 years and also enjoyed their orgies, so only the term 'swinging' is new and that follows on from the thrusting gyrating hips of the roaring 30's swing music and the loose morales that went with the depression and then World War. So not even as modern as the 60's and 70's, definitely not coined I my life time lol.
