we're a young couple just getting into the swinging scene. weve noticed that most couples in SwingingHeaven are late 30s plus.I'm 26 my wife is 23 will we be considered too young to swing

Welcome & as others have said, age is no barrier. There are quite a few young swingers who often prefer to meet............... other young swingers.... frustrating for me being a middle aged swinger!!!

I've been swinging in some shape or form since I was in my mid 20s, and before that I lived in an open relationship (but not really a swinging one). I am 33 now and have never found age to be a problem.

Not wishing to rain on your parade, but you'll probably find as well an age gep that all the swingers that interest you live at the other end of the country. Or if you can only do weekend meets, that's the only time they can't make it etc etc etc.
But stick with it and you'll find the people you are looking for.
