Since I've been on SH my persona here has gradually been taking me over in all areas of my life. In other words it now seems more natural to be eagerslut than to be the other old me who goes out to work and does all the boring stuff.
It feels like the real "me" and I prefer this "me". It's where I feel most comfortable and it feels so natural. :bounce: :bounce:
Yesterday I got ES tattooed at the base of my spine just above my little white triangle so now I'm readily identifiable to the cognoscenti. redface surprisedops:
How real has your inner persona become to you, and have you made the switch yet? wink
Oh and yeah! I'm not apologising either. It's taken me a lifetime to become an exhibitionist! :kissmyarse:
:uhoh: bolt
My inner persona is that of a multi-millionaire, fast talking, smooth, hot stud muffin with women falling at my feet.
Unfortunately, this side of me has yet to materialise. dunno
Next you'll be getting mail addressed to E. Slut esquire.
What a nice post though....
Sorry, but my inner persona and my outward appearance are definitely one and the same thing thing these days! What you see is what you get with McC!
I have seen too many people over the years trying to be something they are not and not being happy with themselves - and basically these are the folks you do not want to know about.
As far as I can tell from SH from my limited experience so far is that the regulars here are perfectly happy being themselves and have no need to put on an act or indeed change. Having said that, the longer I stay who can tell what my views may be in the future?

Who said anything about putting on an act? dunno
You missed my point completely! rolleyes  Never mind!
Well I still stand by what I said ES.
I did say that I can not see into the future so maybe I should comment in a years time and see if my views changed in any way as well.

I don't have any problem with honestly expressed views McC. I just read it that you were implying that what I said was posturing.
Far from it. That was the whole point of this thread. I don't normally post personal stuff like this so those who know me will know that I was trying to make a serious point for a change (I do from time to time you know). wink

I think so too!! confused :? lol
No problems ES - I misunderstood where you were coming from initially but I do tend to agree with you in some ways. We probably become more honest with ourselves if we talk openly about things that are normally regarded as private property.
i bet its a quality tattoo mate nice one!
Hmmm.... interesting post..............
Something for me to self-reflect on

:therethere: eager! i got you matey! i don't do all that heart on sleeve soppy stuff anymore, but yeah, exactly! what you are on here does seem to spill over into real life, cos it IS real life after a bit! t'is all good! biggrin
n x x x ;)
Eager, I know what you mean. But I think of it more along the lines of it being me behaving differently in a different environment. There's no doubt though that this environment is more enjoyable to be in and so you want it to take over more. It may be because we can be more natural here sometimes (I know that this is not the case for quite a few here but it is for some - and it kinda reflects McCloggie's point, where I think he was saying that people can behave in a constrained way in other areas of life - I don't think he was implying people do it here).
I have definitely become more sociable in other areas since I've been on here. The people here have been so good for me in that regard - and roll on Notts!!

My inner persona is the real one. dunno
My online persona is not even my 'real' online persona; it's a sockpuppet as I'm known by another online name everywhere except here. I answer readily to my other online name, but when people on here call me Ice in real life, it takes a while for me to realise they're talking to me. Ice Pie on the forums is sometimes me. Ice Pie in PM is usually me, but not always. Ice Pie at munches is almost entirely me. Ice Pie in private doesn't exist - I'm someone else then.
