Tatoo ....or not to tatoo??

All I can say is when the needle stops.........so does the pain. But there again I had mine on the lower part of my spine.

Very good point and individuals have different opinions of pain. I am thinking of having a piercing, but am worried by the pain, yet I have had Tattoos done without worrying.

oh ive been pierced enough john ive had that many over the years
im like a fart in a culinder .. i cant get out for holes :lol:

Apparently Tattoos are supposed to be more painfull on the less fleshy parts - I have one on my right shoulder and one on the small of my back, couldn't say which was most painful as neither of them were nearly as painful as I had expected them to be 
So, my advice is - go for it!

there is a cream you can get from the docs called emla cream. it numbs you up a treat you have to put it on a good 30 minutes before though. im not sure if you can get it from the chemists but i use it for when i have a laser session and it does help

Ok bigDewi that not a problem seeing as I'm a woman i can multitask I'll remember not to trump or clench and to take some lucozade with me too ....
though think i will be to busy chomping om my purse to dull the pain than swig some lucozade ???

Everyone says it'll hurt, it'll be agony and there'll be blood everywhere etc, but after you have one you find it wasn't as bad as you thought. I had the exact same thing. The hardest part is taking care of the bloody thing afterwards.

Go for it!! It won't hurt as much as you'd expect. You'll sit down afterwords like everyone else saying "Y'know what, that wasn't as bad as i thought it'd be". The only time it hurts is when they say have it in 2 or 3 sessions, and for some idiotic reason you say "Nahhhh, its only 6-7 hours it won't kill me". Yeah i stood up light headed, purple skinned all shaking and that after a 7 hour session. Could you get a word out of me? Could you fu**ers like!! There, so now you all know how to shut me up :P

Have you thought long and hard about what design/style of tattoo you want on your skin... I know its supposed to be an art form... but remember its then on your skin permanently... so it is important to know for definite that what you have decided on will still look good when you're 90!!!

got six tatts and 6 piercings
the tattos didnt really hurt it was just more annoying than anything
just make sure you have eaten beforehand and i find drinking water during helps
afterwards just treat it as an injury and let it heal
rubbing baby oil on helps for me once it has scabed over
