Tattoo Help

Ok ive got a tatto on my lower back of a butterfly - i've had it for about 4yrs and now i want to celebrate my fairly recent singleton status by rebelling and getting another one (its becoming a tradition and you know if its traditional you gotta do it - because its tradition!) :grin:
My dilema - what and where?? dunno

Any suggestions gratefully received biggrin

Hi Babe,
I have a tattoo on my lower back too................. its about 4 weeks old..................and it really hurt................... so dont do it !!!!

well you could have jiggle tattoo'd on ya breasts! .. maybe a bit drastic but when someone asks why you just "jiggle" them
DON'T go for Chinesse Symbols!..... how do you know they mean what they say.. you could end up walking around with "set meal for 2" on ya arm for the rest of your life
i think a black panter is nice... the typ of on that is clawing up ya arm!

Jess you could get 3 small S's in a triangle hun. Single, Sexy and Swinging and only you and those close to you would know what it meant. Or go for the Chinese symbol for "I'm hot, Single and way out of your league" hehehe

I would never get tatt done - hurt a lot when i got my ear pierced, and i dont want to be branded for life.
I am already branded as a ideot, so i dont need anything else.

Branded? Emotive turn of phrase. I have tattoos and see them more as body art, not something I've been cursed with.

She already has confused

I have a tattoo on my lower back and it didn't hurt at all, in fact it was quite pleasurable. I asked the artist and he said that was quite normal, lots of people enjoyed the sensations.

I always wanted the black outline of a ghekko as a tattoo. I know I'd get fed up of it so it would have to be somewhere I couldn't see it! lol

one thing i will say jess is dont go for any tacky tattoos that you see on the flashes on display in the studios. most people go in for a tattoo without much thought, and pick something they later regret. find something personal, that means something important to you. look on the net, magazines, or any image thats different. the sleeve im working on is all my own work. its going to be there forever, so really take your time in finding something that reflects your personality

just have the word 'BRAZILIAN' done in Japanese characters.......so much more original and a real talking point at parties.

Good advice from RL.
Don't know about what to suggest as regards the tattoo but something subtle/understated I think. One of those small tattoos above/behind your ankle possibly?

On a more serious note and these things are always personnel preferences, but I happen to like the front of the ankle, working across the foot and around the toe on women, with some sort of intertwinning flowery type image, it's not as common as some of the other areas that are done .

this is the lower half of the sleeve, although its far from finished. i should have most of it done by the summer, then ill get the inner bicep finnished. then it will be complete. ill then think about having something pretty to go up the right side. starting from my hip up to the top rib, but that will be done after my opp, as my tatts are tales of my life journey and each image has a story behind it :twisted:
