Tea adverts?

Talking to Mrs Tweeky earlier we were discussing adverts and I came to think how come there are no longer any tea adverts on the box? What happened to them all and why do there seem to be none, or am I missing them all? What happened to you only get an OOoo with Typhoo, the Tetly men and the PG tips chimps? The last Tea advert I vaguely remember involved three animals one was an owl and they lived in a flat and relaxed on the sofa with a cuppa, but I forget which tea it was, if it was a tea?
Are there any other advert genres that have vanished/deminished?

I think most beer commercials were good - Melanie Sykes in The Boddingtons ones were classic.
Also, the old Hamlet cigar ones... especially the "baldy man" ones with Gregor Fisher.....so funny biggrin

That made me laugh but the advertising didnt work I never bought the tea but remembered the ad.

Yeh remember them well but they kept getting banned or eidted cus they so say encouraged kids to do stupid things. Huge increase of kids going to hospital with burst eardrums after the first one so it was pulled.
