Errrrrr, if you mean the banner ads, you can't get rid of them methinks.... but I'm not a techie, and I just try my best to hide the top of the screen when I'm at work! redface
well if i hadnt seen it with my own eyes id belive you were right, but fact they didnt appear on my friends pc till today when norton was unloaded and reloaded thats all thats changed
Midsmale ...
If you have Norton Internet Security then you need to go ino the NIS status & settings and at the bottom it says ad blocking. You need to turn that on.
We have NIS and it blocks the banner without any problems
i dont think its poss disable it because its not a pop up but a banner and banners pay for the adverts to be screened which keeps this site free i would contact mark first before you try and block it
it is possible cos ive seen a pc run this site without that add on it, will have good rread of everyones ideas tomoz night,
good night
sleepy and still not smoking
A correction on my last post, you can disable the banner ads with a free firewall.
i know the link has been put here before so i think i am ok to put this link here

this is a free download
click the privacy tab then push the button to max on ad blocking

The reason the banner ads are there is because they are part of a hosting deal I have for the site. SH is now a monster to host (trust me),

I can beleive that , it is however cyber nirvana for a lot of us , and somehow the fact that it's free helps there so at the risk of sounding a bit brown nosed , thanks Mark.
Ok mark thanks for clearing that up i just wasnt sure theres a lot of sites that its against there tos (terms of service) on blocking banners
well there you have it folks click on my above link and block them banners easy to install and use cheers dean
Don't use Norton but, if the ad blocking config lets you, just block all images from www.swingingheaven.co.uk/images/aff/
