Right now ive got the media center set up to record from the sky box finally,but yet again its in black and white and theres no sound.
Its connected via a scart block and an s-video connection in the pc's TV ideas guys on what i can do to get colour and sound???

May be macrovision protection...same happens if you try to connect a dvd to a vcr and record but not 100% sure

Yep it could be. Try recording from one of the free to air cannels like BBC1 etc.
As for sound may sound like a daft question,but have you wired it up?
