techie type question - help needed re pms

Hello all
several pms to forum members seem to be stuck in my outbox bit - does that mean they haven't gone ?????
and can i force them ???
expert opinion please

kent mate hey.
just means they haven't logged in and picked them up yet. they'll move to your sentbox when they read them.

Terry,
When you send a PM it stays in your outbox till the recipient opens and reads it. Then it's magically transferred to your sentbox....
Best way to force it is to call the recipient and ask them to remove their digit and log on lol

This one seems to come up a lot... do you think if we renamed the boxes it'd make things easier? The "Sentbox" could become the "Receivedbox", maybe?

I don't know - the names of the boxes are similar to those in Microsoft outlook !
I bet Bill Gates isn't inundated with questions like these!

Except then people would be wondering why they're receiving their own mail back ... !
I agree with Alexandra, folders are same names as Outlook so may as well leave them as they are ... it IS slightly confusing though as it's natural to expect them to only be in the outbox for a short time ...
