can anyone help me i use aol as my normal browser and since the recent service work on this site when i connect through aol i still see the page telling me work is ongoing How ever i can connect ok with internet explorer
Well there's your first problem .. using AOL ... or A O Hell as I like to call it!!

Not used aol for years so possibly talking bollox which I am particularly good at, but try clearing your cache. That sorts out loads of browser problems.
As to how you clear cache in aol, can't help you there I am afraid.

AOL is a total inigma to me, anyone i have ever spoken has said nothing but bad things about it. dunno

Am using AOL here with no problems.
Have always been with them (approx 10 years now) and never had any problems at all.
Yet just about everyone that we chat to, who uses AOL or has used it has said how bad they have found it..........................no probs here at all!!! dunno

There are 3 alternatives to using the dedicated AOL browser.....


Opera (although their site seems to be down atm....:shock: )
Although I am currently using IE7, I do use Firefox too.
I have Opera installed too, but havent gotten round to using it yet.
All the above are fairly stable, although FF seems to be the most reliable.

to clear aol cache on aol 8 go to start / programs /aol /aol system information and hit the utiltys butrton/ the n button saying clear browser cache pn aol 9 right click on your aol icon by clock to bring up the menu and select system information go to utilitys ands clear cache
