HI all - i hope im posting this in the right place - if not please forgive me.
Im still a newbie around here but i am confirmed for the Leicester Munch and the afters party in a couple of weeks time. Now i have to confess something - Im terrified!!!! sad

Ive been reading posts from all you lovely people and ive even made a few myself. Im looking forward to meeting up but it doesnt alter the fact that im "scare". Dont really know why - i can usually mix with anybody. I think its my age biggrin

You all seem so much younger than me, and on top of that a lot of you all seem to know each other.
You see, to begin with im quite a shy person.
I still want to go though - and if anyone wants to say hello - i will be easily recognised!
I'll be the shivering jelly in the corner!

I knew six people at my first munch and one of those was my boyfriend! lol

Don't worry, we all get nervous! Even the ones counted as hold hands. It's part of the fun and the buzz that is a munch! Age doesnt matter, hun, most of the people on here are older than me (im 23 before you wonder) so no stress biggrin

Gailen - I was that shivering wreck in the corner at the Notts Munch last year - so understand where you are coming from!!!!!
You will last 5 secs there before being drawn into the general meleee. Trust me!!!! Just be yourself and have no expectations. Have fun! That's the main thing!!!

Your a lucky fella. It's only natural to be apprehensive. For one reason or another some of us don't get to the munches - so go for it.

I can relate to that Gailen
I am down for the Scottish Munch at the end of March and I only know a couple of people and to be honest i dont even know them that well!
So i am terrified as well!!
But things will pan out and i have faith in the people that i have spoken to on here!
So you will be in good hands!

Went to my first munch this weekend, didn't know a soul but left having made a load of new friends. Looking forward to making many more. cool

Gailen, I'm sure we've spoken before in a pm. Not into dogging "yet", who knows......not into sinlge males only "yet"...again who knows.
But we're going to Wishmasters Birthday party in May (Herts/Beds Munch as was) and if your old enough to be someone's Dad then I'm old enough to be someone's Granny. But I don't care.....still young at heart, stil think and act like 17 (sometimes this can cause embrassament)....but again I don't care. But we're as nervous as HELL :!:
Life is for living and you only here just one time....this isn't the practice lap...it's the only chance we've got......so

well this will be my first munch as welland iam sure they will be loads more people venturing out forr the first time .people have been reassuring him that it will be fine i know it will be so am not afraid ,scared or pensive iam not cocky iam confident and am looking forward to only thing is iam dying with anticipation day is just not arriving for me seeyou all there cool
