Hi folks - I think that getting lost on holiday is all part of the fun, as long as you got someone to blame... sorry Sass - I was concentrating on the road (no pedestrians' arses to concentrate on instead!)

Hi every one 
Firstly apologies for leaving it so long, but had to go out on a job Monday morning and returned and fell into bed at 5am this morning.
Ok, first the thanks
I’d like to start by thanking everyone who put their names on the list to begin with, I was pretty low at the time and to see so many names gave me a real boost, it was, to me anyway, a great show of support, thanks guys n galls
I can understand why so many dropped out, I was mostly conspicuous by my absence through most of the build up due to domestic stuff going on, then we had the last minute panic with the site, and to top it all off the weather on the weekend in question really did look crap, I envisaged a mini Glasto so was actually surprised that anyone at all showed up in the end.
As it turned out the rain held off for almost the entire weekend, and despite reports from those that went exploring, of torrential rain within just a few miles of the site, we managed to get away with it.
A huge thanks to VelvetTigers for all her hard work despite bearing a heavy burden of her own, hope everything turns out ok hun, my PM box is always open :kiss:

Well, I have to say in all honesty that was probably the best chilli I have ever eaten (burp)
The fire-pit was outstanding and the epic journey to re-supply the logs was above and beyond the call :thumbup:

For a young man like yourself to travel and turn up to an event such as this, unaccompanied not having met most or any of the people there is to me a sheer act of bravery.
To then fit right in and contribute in every way, I have to say that in a very short space of time it felt like we’d all known you for years, is incredible and all credit to you :thumbup:
You will certainly be welcome to attend any event I organise in the future.

I hasten to add the cable ties were needed for an emergency DIY jobbie on the car exhaust after we realised we'd driven all the way with the damn thing hanging off! :shock:
