Thanks to Freckledbird for all her hard work in organising another successful Sheffield Social.
It was great to see so many turn up despite lousy weather and transport complications caused by the floods, especially two special people who travelled all the way from another country. lol

(no, I'm not going to say "You know who you are", it's too bleedin' obvious!)
It was great to chat with several people I've never met before, and to see everyone enjoying the evening.
I'm already looking forward to the next one. lol

despite limping down the M1 in a poorly car, then getting stranded with no rear lights on the very scary hard shoulder in the rain after being flashed at and recieving hand gesutres from other motorists (none of whom offered to help I might add :kick smile

, being guided into the services by a very nice truck driver who took pity on me standing there piss wet fooking through looking like a drowned rat ( worship

) and then being stuck there for 2 hours in the rain until someone from the SH network came out to help me at 2am ( worship

) and tailed me all the way home, where i promptly made a large dent in the drivers door by kicking it just a little bit too hard lol

.....and not making it to work today so the whole staying sober/leaving early shite was all in vain anyway rolleyes

....I had a fab night :thumbup: lol

Well, needless to say Angelica and I had a blast! That's what we were hoping for but the whole trip exceeded our expectations.
Thanks Mr and Mrs FB (Mrs for all the hard work kiss

and Mr for the necessary research trips to the venue :cheers: !)
It was great to meet up with old friends and make some new ones.
Didn't complete all the yakking I'd intended so I suppose we'll have to come again.

,Was great meeting you both and we had a great time and a bloody good giggle. We will be looking out for the next one for sure.

who kept me calm when panic would have usually set in, and helped make our night as relaxed as it was!.
Wont do the nameing thing coz im pants with names redface

and am sure i will forget someone,so was great to meet so many of you wave

and to those that no-showed you missed a great night.
But we need to be more organised on the drinks front next time as the hotel bar shut at midnight :shock: lol

and that was just way too early :P

As choon says we had a blast. Had alovely time on the sofa - sorry I didn't get to sit on more men on the sofa were scrumptious tho'.Sorry I missed talking to some of you I wanted to but hope to catch up next time.
