I've just been playing with my F5 button, licking it, sucking on it, nibbling genty, squeezing it between finger and thumb, even put the Dolphin on it. It didn't swell at all, the keyboard never moaned or even gave a little sigh of exstatic pleasure, in fact the only thing that happened is it got soaked and now m** y ke/',brud h2s stopd wrkig

I always hated Explorer, I much prefer to open the drive or folder directly from the run command, in act, when Windows 95 came out I would use Start Run Winfile (worked all the way through Windows 98 IIRC, doesn't work on W2k unfortunately) that brought up the old Windows File Manager!
In fact as a keyboard user I start up Word by pressing Ctrl+Esc, r (for run) and type winword into the run box.
I still use 102 key keyboards sometimes, so I haven't really got into the habit of pressing the Windows Key instead of CTRL+ESC!
Chris... no great fan of mice TBH

Son, let me give you the Good News... our lord Linus has arisen to give us his only child: Linux. Behold the holy command line! Observe the trinity of Linus, Linux and the holy Tux!
I have some pamphlets for you to read too, they are in the /man directory...

err, well sorry but I still don't see how it helps. If I click on the drop down menu it gives me my "history" of visited sites, so I can see that it might be quite helpful if I'm playing on "right move" to be able to open "streetmap" or something, but please tell me how it helps here?
Try CTRL+F5...
And yes it does do something different to F5
Left ALT+left SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN

You git
I couldn't read a bloody thing :!:

I presume you worked out that you can reverse it with the same combination?
biggrin
Ooo shortcuts... Try F5 in lotus notes, really useful (Clear password and lock) great watching all the new users, used to windows, typing their password for 50th time as they try to refresh email...
Other ones:
Windows + R (Run Dialog)
Ctrl + Shift + Escape (Task Manager)
Ooo - Lotus Notes eh? This one's a doozie - when they're not looking (obviously) and they've left 100's of emails in their inbox, hit the END key. That scrolls the view to the right hand margin, but makes it look as if all their emails have been deleted!! To get it back just press HOME. Hours of fun! biggrin :D
