The 80's
We have had thread like this recently relating to things we loved when we grew up but I can always remember Saturday morning matinee movies and tv shows like buster crabbe in flash gordon and buck rogers!!! then there was King of the rocket men and Tarzan!!
The flashing blade (with old matey in a harlequin suit) I wish they brought some of them back to watch again instead of the power rangers and other shit I get tangled into through many a hangover!!

After reading this post and replying with my trips down memory lane I dreamt about the 80's things all last night! Most of it to do with being obsessed about the perfect roll on my slouch socks and the video for A-ha's Take on me.

Most of the programmes are still on TV ... Dangermouse. Pink panther, Scooby Doo, hong Kong Phooey, top Cat are on Boomerang, Josie and the pussycats.
After 8pm on Nick Jnr there is an older programme line up called Noggin ... thing's like Mr Benn, King Rollo, Bagpuss, Wombles, Clangers, Mr Men, magic roundabout Paddingotn bear, Portland Bill.
On one other the other channels there is Ulysses 31, transformers, the Marvel Action House, Battle of the Planets.
You just have to know where to look ;)
