The worst movie for me was "Hostel". I went to the cinema to watch it with my sister, whose turn it was to choose the film we watched. As she is a horror flick fan, I should of known better. Blood, guts and gore were an understatement and I walked out half way through because I was feeling nauseous.

that was one of mine too, supposed to be Tarantino but just used his name to sell it really,
the only film that has ever made me physically balk while watching it

most of them English.....
without any particular film in mind, what really pee`s me off is films with open endings.
films are a bit of escapism , I dont want to have to then work it out for myself

Grease 2 sad :( :( :(
Grease is one of my fave films, never get tired of watching it........ the first time I watched it as a teenager at the pictures - to say I was blown away is an understatement.
I went straight out and bought myself some shiny trousers (no lycra back then!!), little blouse and high heeled platform clogs :smile2: Felt the bees knees in it at the Disco at the local church hall - even if it did take twice as long as normal to walk there :undecided: ........ I was Sandy!! :lol2:
Absolutely loved the film, still do - so I was beside myself with anticipation when I found out a second film was being done, went and hired it at the video shop, put it on......
WTF???  mad :x :x It was utter tripe, worse than tripe, it was maggots on tripe, it was amoebas on maggots on tripe!! lol
Was so disappointed :(

missy, i nagged and nagged and nagged my mam for MONTHS to "please buy me some brylcreem mam . . . please buy me some brylcreem mam . . . please buy me some brylcreem mam . . . please buy me some brylcreem mam . . . please buy me some brylcreem mam . . . please buy me some brylcreem mam . . . please buy me some brylcreem mam . . . " in a bart simpson stylee.
i had an overwhelming desire to one day own my very own greased lightning, complete with glass hood. ((( think that's a bonnet or summat? dunno )))
i was actually IN grease at school, complete with T-Bird leather jacket and the longed for brylcreem quiff! :bounce:
as for grease 2 . . . . soooooooo bad, even michelle pfeifer couldn't redeem it!
as for bad films, i'm now dying to see them snakes on a motherfuckin' plane, ever since i discovered it's gone all Rocky Horror Cult Movie, complete with
that must rank as the worst idea for a film of all time? what was samuel l. jackson thinking? ((( or was he incredibly astute? haven't worked it out yet? confused )))
neil x x x ;)

(but she can say 'Egg Thingy's' in 23 languages)
films i found dull. well most of the over hyped hollywood blockbusters fall on their arse a bit which is why i like to watch foreign films (french, german,NZ & some of the asia based cinema is brilliant) cos when you haven't got 100million to throw at overpaid actors and flashy effects you Have to concentrate on having a decent story and script, something hollywood thinks is an afterthought.
i found the first LOTR at bit too long and tedious, i could chop out a good half hour of that quite easy. The only film i've ever hired and not watched is Freddy Got Fingered, so bad it was back in the box within 15 minutes of the start.
I'd be much happier telling you which films you should see, tbh
The original russian version of SOLARIS back in the 70s, it was promoted as the russian 2001 space odessy (it wasn't) . Only film i've ever fallen asleep in.
I had forgotten this one but its bobbed to the surface of my conciousness like an unwanted turd.
Moulin Rouge.
I sat in the cinema, with my wife, and just wished she would hurry up and die. Nicole Kidman that is. redface surprisedops:
A film I remember enjoying at the time was Commado. Arnie Schwarzy play a ex green beret or something. I thought it was a splendid parody of the Rambo films but....
every time I've seen it on TV I've come to realise that the comedy is unintentional and it is in fact a crap film.
I think some or maybe all of the Conan films could go into this category too. They remind me of amateur dramatics :giggle:

Nothing wrong with that or a little role play hunni redface
Think just off hand and 'cos it was on recently, Evil Dead III. Come on, time travelling and a chainsaw as an arm - including foam flavoured blood - just don't evil

For me The 40 yr old Virgin wins the prize for absolute rubbish film award.
DD rolleyes
Absolutely ANY DVD Mr W chooses. It will have been chosen because:
A: There is some mention of sex (however veiled)
B) there is some erotically photographed body part on the cover.
I have confiscated the video rental cards rolleyes
Jeepers creepers, its was fine for 20 mins before the plot began to fall apart mad If he's a giant indestructable bat why does he have a van in the first place? where did he get the van? how did he buy fuel e.g. .......
"hello Mr giant indestructable bat thats $ please, do you want cash back?"
I dont do forum posting anymore but Jeepers creepers annoyed me so much I felt it worth it smile Surprisingly though Jeepers creepers 2 wasent that bad as they just got on with the fact that this things a giant indestructable bat that kills people. That made a nice simple horror film.
Gota be disagreeing with the rocky comments though sad Rocky 1 is a classic even if the rest are tosh, Thats why it won oscars.
Cheers
Jackie Brown... soooo boring. *yawn*
Saturday Night Fever
*pukes* For heaven's sake don't watch it from the beginning, fast forward to the middle and go from there if you must. We even turned it over to watch the end of the Grinch it was that bad.
At the risk of encourring the wrath of Neil...
Spartacus.
Three and a bit hours of that utter drivel all to have them stand up and say, no i am spartacus, no i am sparticus, no i am sparticus... ad nausium. Oh I'd rather watch paint dry.
Actually... any sunday afternoon film that Neil likes is normally a bit crap. lol He maintains they are 'classics' but everyone knows thats just code for saying we know this is rubbish but you have to watch it anyway.
kiss Gem, x
