Men, for me.
Women (and I am about to make sweeping generalisations, so forgive me, all SH women are excluded) want to talk about kids; have no interest in things mechanical; know feck all about politics; like to wear different clothes every time they go out the door and don't understand why any one might not want to do the same; worry too much about food, can't hold their drink, not that they drink that much in the first place; have no sense of humour about themselves; hate it when you stare at their tits; pretend they've never done such a thing, ever, if you belch; are too damn sensible.....
... I think I'd better stop.
I much prefer the company of men, always have done.
I'm not a girly girl, never have been and never will be.
At school most of my friends were male, I only had a few female friends but they turned out to be not very nice friends at all and since then I've had the odd acquaintence with women but these have left me not wanting to prolong the friendship.
I'm generalising here but from my experience in the workplace and in general women tend to bitch about each other - I don't like that.
I'm not saying I'm not open to making female friends, I am but I'm quite wary.
There are other reasons why I prefer male company of course, ones which I won't go into here
I find it much easier in the company of females than males always have done dont ask me why.
well I gona buck the trend a little really.
I like the company of my mates, who are almost all exclusely Male. We can talk footie, sex, belch and fart, scratch our balls, pick our noses, and drink beer. Now not many ( I exclude vix from the above) women would join in with that. Deep down I am still a "LAD". Now don't get me wrong I love women ofcause I do......but do have to admit to enjoying my friday night out down the pub.
depends on my mood i have a laugh with my female and male friends
I feel much more comfortable in the company of men,ill always remember being gutted that i had to have a hen night and that none of our male mates could come, hence the hen night was shite but Steves stag night sounded bloody good.
Anyways im rambling but apart from certain female mates i tend to find women too damn competitive over stoopid things and dont often feel comfortable in their company.
I've always been more comfortable in the company of women, my best friends through life have always been female. Have to agree with Clare, she says she finds women competetive, but i find the same thing in the company of guys. Its always competetive - who can drink the most, who's got the biggest/newest/fastest car, who's pulled the most women on a night out etc. etc. Guess i just find women easier to talk to and confide in.
