Hmmmm. A bit quiet in here today. Everyone busy with Bank Holiday duties I suppose. Oh well. Time to get the fillet steak into the marinade and then pour myself a large glass of something before enjoying the rest of the sunshine.

No problem at all. How about a nice big-hearted, full bodied glass of red, and there's some pink fizz in the fridge as well. Perfect for a summer's evening.

I'll have that pink champagne now please if it's on offer!! Have been up since 6.... FISHING of all things!! Daz has succesfully taught me how to cast and catch!! Unfortunately am still too squeamish to touch the fish yet!!
Anyway, my point is, i'm celebrating the extra day off work added to the fact that i now have some understanding of Daz's hobby, which is why pink champagne is most DEFINITELY the order of the day!!

I'm trying hard to clean the kitchen floor redface

it's not very interesting but very necessary. I keep stopping to do other things and it's just NOT getting done.
Have tidied the living room, hoovered, dusted, killed about 20 moths (HARRY!!!) and put away 6 months worth of essential papers (mostly into the bin) and cleaned the bathroom, shoved things into the space called bedroom and closed the door... but the effing kitchen floor is getting me down.
Got a guest arriving tomorrow for a few days and I NEED TO GET IT DONE.. where are the slaves and subs when one really needs them??? confused
