Well, I had to post this. (must be too much wine) and expect some barbed comments.....
But, my beloved team have now not only won the Premeirship but gone the whole season unbeaten. I believe that this will never be repeated.
The style of play, the team aspect and the will to win are something that Arsene Wenger has instilled in this team.
Sarge: I expect some feedback from you.... but roll on next season and I am sure that it will be one to remember.
Regards
Paul
Speaking as a former Arsenal supporter who left Highbury at the same time as George Graham, I'd just like to say well done to the gunners for yet again proving my sporting mentors wrong and demonstrating that, contrary to propaganda, cheats DO win most of the time. biggrin

Even as a United supporter I can't help but admire what the Arses have done in the league this season. To go the whole season without being beaten, and play the attractive football they have really is an achievement.
My team have by their own standards had the poorest season in many a year. Finishing third in the league, reaching the knockout phase of the Champions League and hopefully winning the FA Cup Final next week. Having said that, I can't remember the last time we played the fast, flowing football we are capable of. Certainly not this season.
It is a sad reflection on the rest of the Premiership that we had a poor season but still finished so far ahead of the chasing pack.
So, well done Arses!! I don't think anyone in our life time will go the whole season undefeated again. Please look after OUR trophy and be prepared to give it back to it's rightful owner in 12 months time!!
yes well done the gooners...dont forget to keep it polished for when Utd get it back next season.........lol
flipa
Arsenal did play well and deserved to win the title. But, however good they think they played, as a devil worshipper I have only one word to say - Treble! lol
mr ccr
Yes, congratulations to Arsenal (sorry I meant Henry) for winning the league and going undeafeted for the whole of the season.
But with Euro 2004 on the way and the season starting not so long after, will Arsenal (Henry) be able to retain their championship, I think not. They will be to tired to perform.
I would also like to congratulate Liverpool (my team) in beating Manchester United. We had a shit season, but it was worth it to be United. Is it an end of an era for Ferguson?
I think so flipa

Say no more!! dunno :dunno: :dunno: lol
All I have to say, as a fan for many years of a small club in the Nationwide League (the REAL football league), is to note that one particular multi-million pound business have done particularly well in their league this season, to the dismay of their rival multi-million pound businesses.
Mike
I'd comment on this as although I'm not loving them you do have to admire a whole season unbeaten - pretty special whichever way you look at it.
Then again, what do I know - posting this means the fact I'm a Wolves fan may leak out and then what would I do......
Ah.
Whoops.
I'll get me coat.
Yeah OK well done to Arsenal. Outstanding - amazing maybe - Immortal - not yet :!:
Man U should sack Fergie. He's allowed his personal relationships with some players (Beckham; Stam) get in the way of the interests of the club. It was widely thought he considered Beckham to be too big for his boots - he should take a look in the mirror :!: Sorry Sarge!
Liverpool need to invest wisely to get back to their winning ways :!:

going unbeaten is a remarkable achievement for a team trying to emulate Manchester United's victorious 1999 treble winning season......i think i'd rather have three trophies sitting in a very large trophy room at old trafford than sitting side by side with preston, the last team to achieve such a record.....
it kills me to say....but well done Arse'nal'....terry henry was the key player for you all season... hard luck regarding getting to your 3rd successive F.A Cup Final, and being knocked out of the Champions league, better luck Next Year.....
i am writing this on my own because i am married to a gooner, and i know out it feels from both sides of the femce...
good luck in your new all singing all dancing ashburton stadium........when it is finally finished.......good luck in all competitions from a disgruntled Man u fan..............

Sarge;
Thankyou for the balanced comments... I must admit that I firmly believe that if Man U make one or two or three additions of the right players then they will be up there next season...
I think what people have to realise is that Fergie has done a superb job over 15 years or so - and for him to be marked as a failure is ridiculous.
One to watch for Man U....Ronaldo. In two years he will become your best player.. Now you might think this weird but I think that he should play on the left and become a quicker version of Robert Pires.. (now there is a thought)

There was another team who won their league unbeaten this season. AFC Wimbledon. Not as glamorous as the Premiership but owned and run by fans and one step up the ladder to getting our Football League place back.
Well done Paul (fun365) for putting up a post about the MIGHTY GOONERS - ooh to, ooh to be, ooh to be a......GOONER; We're the North bank, We're the Noth Bank, We're the North Bank Highbury; We won the league, we won the league, we won the league at White Hart Lane, we won the league at the Shithole, we won the league at WHite Hart Lane; CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS CHAMPIONS - ha ha ha ha ha, I could keep singing them all day long. What a feeling it was to go unbeaten all season, dare I say it on this site, but almost as good as sex lol
Next season, back to back Champions, a Champions League final spot and the FA Cup final.
