for me super size me, never did like that fast food anyway, but the guy must be crazy to put himself through that for a month, it did surprise me the effect eating only mcdonalds could have on your body for a month rolleyes
the last one that i saw was Hero with Jet Li and Zhang Zhiyi, one of the most beautiful films i have ever seen! I will always remember that one biggrin
At the cinema? Superman IV - there's no cinema in Redditch anymore.
At home? Bean, because I've got it on DVD. Mind you, seen that a few times before. The last new film I saw would be Legally Blonde. Not bad, not bad, it amused me and that's the main thing...
Inside i'm dancing
Very sad film, but it was a good one to watch.
Watched the butterfly effect last week....going to watch afew new films over the weekend...shrek 2 this afternoon cause the kid keeps asking to watch it rolleyes ....
Stand by me - last night - ahhh love it!
shrek 2 the scene with pinochio and the g-string still makes me chuckle, this is more than just a kids film
"Gladiator" this morning after work, i got "Kiss The Girls" running on me 'puter now. biggrin
The last time we went to the cinema we watched Seven which was a long time ago and Neal fell asleep. We usually get films off sky and the last one was Wrong Turn, which made me jump.

Dragged to see "Wimbledon" at the cinema recently and it turned out to be better than expected.
Last DVD I saw was Charlies Angels II which I really enjoyed despite what the critics said!
Mike
i was persuaded to go watch saw, or dragged, but this turned out to be very good (some gory bits) but a really good ending which is not the norm nowadays, where you can predict the outcome after 5 mins, worth a view

I also watched Stand by Me last night (funnily enough)
However the last movie I watched was a quick 5 minute blast of 'die sex pertin'..!!! wink
Dxxx
Watched man on fire with denzel washington the other night on a dodgy dvd!
Not a bad film......worth a look. lol
We just watched Troy last night, brilliant, werent sure which side we were supposed to be rooting for though.
My wife is now wondering if there are any Sean Bean look alikes on this site.
Watching Garfield tonight.
John & Sarah
Watched Election again on telly the other day, what an excellent film biggrin
Cinema - The Village - as with every other M Night Shyamalan film it's completely overhyped and the contrived plot twist is obvious from 5 minutes in (no, I didn't like it much ;) )
Cinema: 'Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind'. Really clever, moving, thought provoking film with Jim Carrey proving he is actually an excellent actor when he curbs his excesses (full credit to the director there). Also, added bonus of Kate Winslet looking, well, like Kate Winslet biggrin
DVD: 'Donnie Darko'-mainly because I like being totally confounded and the ferrets like hissing at the giant rabbit. But, a seriously stylish film. (Anybody out there got a clue what it's all about???)

Local Hero: one of my all time favourites. Just love it.
took my daughter to see " Sharks tale " Good as well.......kept me amused anyway.

I can see a problem ...one of us is gonna get upset because we cant sit next to you lol
well how about one of you sits in the seat behind me?
i have been assured that the man at the back always gets loads of fun! wink
I assumed wed be in the back row anyway
it's only in this last year i have started going to cinema again, as with most areas now having several multiplex cinemas showing films from morning through to the early hours it is easier to go, easy parking, no waiting walk straight in, only downside is the no smokeing rule but that is another subject. so we now go on average twice a month in the daytime. also if i take my niece and nephew i get to see things like shrek and garfiled .

trust me, when you want to see the type of film where they allow children in.. its much better to wait for the dvd.
nothing worse than having to get up every 3 mins to allow parents to take their kids to the toilet... or having one of the little darlings rythmicly kicking the back of your seat.
it also lessons the likely hood of you getting home to find toffee and popcord stuck in your hair!
Last film seen on dvd was Van Helsing.
Cinema was Haunted House, with Eddy Murphy.
I went to see "Collateral" - it's a good movie but somehow I was impressed by it more than enjoyed it. Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood at the time. One of Cruise's better efforts though.
Went to see Alien vs Predator last night with our teenage son !
Last DVD was Fahrenheit 9/11,very thought provoking even if Michael Moore did it for his own devices.
The last time we went to the cinema was to watch LOTR The two towers, what a load of overhyped books are far,far better.
lotr, matrix, van helsing all just fantasy, but these are the films to see at cinema, never the same on dvd at home, but 911,bowling for columbine etc are the type of films to watch at home, they are more thought provoking than fantasy type of films which you just watch for special effects etc in cinema
