Was sat contemplating life, the universe, and everything the other day, an a memory struck me.
Some years ago Mrs Pete and me went off into wilds with our tent, so for a few days we were living out of cans and packets. All very nice, love our camp tucker, but when we got home we bought some fresh rolls, a pad of butter, a hunk of cheese and an onion. What a delight.
Sometime it’s the little things we take for granted every day that we miss the most when we lose them.
What simple luxury would you miss the most if you had to do without it?
