Well how about a remake of Noggin the Nog, an animated story about a viking and his adventures originally produced by Oliver Postgate (same guy did Captain Pugwash). Wonder if Peter Jackson of LOTR fame would be interested? lol
LC wink

and what about the clangers? They were my absolute faves.
Crystal Tips and Alisdair.....I always longed for hair like hers, and Top Cat was another one...loved the intro, still remember the music.

Oliver Postgate didn't do Captain Pugwash, that was John Ryan I think. Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin also did Ivor the Engine - brilliant! I once met Oliver Postgate's step-daughter, when she and I were both teenagers - lovely girl. :P

This magic roundabout isn't actually the first film version made. Hope this version is less scarier than THIS :

Got it for our young 'un. Nothing but nightmares several nights running...really.
So we decided not to show her the film in the end.

I stand corrected! Got my animators all mixed up! It was a long time ago......... rolleyes Yes, Oliver Postgate & Peter Firmin produced some wonderful programs. I believe a lot of their animation was done at home in a shed or something.

Saw this last night, very good. The kids enjoyed it, and we both laughed at the adult jokes, esp one about Dylan and him having something stashed away for safe keeping, then someone reminding him that now was not the time for recreational hobbies! rolleyes  right over the kids heads!
